Mark and Nicole are truly the perfect hosts 😍 My husband and I spent nearly four months at ‘The Stables’ and couldn’t have been happier! The house is fabulous and has everything you could wish for. We love to cook and enjoyed cooking here as the kitchen was of a very high spec. The master bedroom was beautiful and the king size bed so, so, comfortable. So If it’s luxury you want, then it’s here. The location is delightful set far back from the road, along a track next to fields. There are lovely country walks nearby, where there are many beautiful horses, muntjacs and many other types of wildlife to see. We regularly had a pheasant who would peer in through our door 🥰 I would recommend staying here as the accommodation is very well appointed and in a lovely peaceful setting. Ampthill only being a short walk from the house is a wonderful little town to go shopping, have coffee or enjoy a lovely meal at one of the many eateries. We will definitely be back and miss being there.

What can I say… literally booked an hour before as felt severely u well at the service station. Super accommodating for me, my husband and our dog Peggy. Beautiful accommodation and superb stay. Cannot recommend enough. If in the area again we will return but I imagine it books up quickly given the amazing cost and hosts. Thank you so much

What a stunning little place!! Absolutely spotless with very kind and thoughtful touches as our family had particular needs. Tucked await a quiet spot but simple to find. The decor was beautiful and the beds very comfortable. All you need in the kitchen and bathroom. Suzanne is a lovely lady and extremely welcoming. We WILL be back! Fantastic weekend stay 🤩

Emma and her Mum Clare are great hosts and made us very welcome. We spent 5 days at this beautiful property. It’s situated in the extensive grounds of the main house but is very private and peaceful. We can recommend this property, it is better than described and the pictures might suggest. Clare lovely to meet you and hope we will see you again on our next visit. David and Camilla
