This unique home has its very own style that has emerged over the five years that we rebuilt the barn. High ceilings and plenty of space both inside and out. Everything is new and fresh. Perfect place for rest and recreation. It includes bikes, kayaks and DRINKS (2 of each) and the proximity to sports and outdoor activities is good. House located centrally in Fredriksberg with only 5 minutes to the slopes in Säfsen resort. Close to cross-country tracks, snowmobile trails, mtb and other fun. about 150 meters to small city center with restaurant and pub, Coop and bakery, gas station. Fully equipped kitchen, TV in living room and wifi, chromecast on TV. Wood-burning stove in living room. one toilet with sink, one shower room with sink. Wood storage is available. Cleaning is not included, but leave as it was when you arrived. No pets. Possibility of 8 beds.

FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Life jackets and paddles also included. Walking distance to the lake and river. Transport of canoe to other lakes can be arranged for a small fee.
