Facing onto the village green in the centre of Grasmere, it has fell views and plenty of walks right from the doorstep, including Helm Crag and the Fairfield round. The cottage offers king-size bedroom, double bedroom, lounge with comfy seating for four, full kitchen, bathroom, which is downstairs, and heated lobby drying room. Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car.
