A traditional cosy Lakeland cottage, ideal for 3 to 4 people. Will suit both walkers and those wanting to relax around cafes. Facing onto the village green in the centre of Grasmere, it has fell views and plenty of walks right from the doorstep, including Helm Crag and the Fairfield round. The cottage offers king-size bedroom, double bedroom, lounge with comfy seating for four, full kitchen, bathroom, which is downstairs, and heated lobby drying room. Pass provided for 1 car on nearby car-park.

Camping pod in western lakes

Our cosy pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. Inside the pod is a double bed, a single futon mattress, kettle, toaster and oil filled radiator, carpeted floor, black out curtains. no bedding is supplied. The pod is small but cosy. The onsite games room provides extra space. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.

Situated on the edge of Hartsop, a tiny and tranquil hamlet at the foot of Kirkstone Pass, Green Bank is a gem of a rural getaway, with stunning walks in fells - low and high level - and around lakes from the garden gate. A popular holiday let since the 1990s with many repeat visitors, Green Bank used to be managed by an agency and has relatively recently come to AirBnB.

A private balcony is accessed from the kitchen; just the place to sit and relax after a day on the fells , so makes the most of the sunsets.
