Pure nature enjoyment at the edge of the forest! A fantastic place to recharge and rest, but there are also no limits to many sporting activities. The property is located a little off the beaten track at the end of the village. In the immediate vicinity there are climbing rocks, hiking trails and a river for kayaking. Cyclists and motorcyclists will also get their money's worth. All over the property there are 2 vacation homes with private, separate outdoor areas. Free parking at the house.

While in the silence of the night you only hear the stream in the valley, you can reach a lot of hospitality on foot: 2-3 restaurants, a popular bakery café, the spa park, a gas station with shop & café, a mom-and-pop shop, doctor, pharmacy and 2 banks. There is plenty to do: guided tours of the castle and rock cellar, the hiking paradise starts right outside the door, rock climbing, baking bread, and much more.

Burg Egloffstein - Felsenwohnung

Historic, lovingly renovated, bright and quiet flat on two floors in Egloffstein castle. The flat can only be accessed via the idyllic courtyard. In the entrance area: dining room and kitchen. The cosy living room/bedroom has a wood-burning stove and leads to the battlements, high above the valley. The bedroom and bathroom, as well as 2 additional beds, are located on the upper floor. The flat is an ideal starting point for hiking, biking or climbing the rocks in the immediate vicinity.

Hiking, biking, climbing and culture in Franconia

Apartment, on the first floor, two open sleeping areas (no closed rooms) climbing roof, balconies in all directions. A steep staircase leads to the sleeping roof! However, the double sofa bed is in the lower living area. Garden area with fireplace, outdoor sauna. Fully equipped kitchen, with gas stove. Spices are available, but you have to bring your own coffee. In summer, the service water is heated via the solar system. It may take some time for the heating to start when it is cloudy.

The newly renovated house is located in Gräfenberg, the gateway to Franconian Switzerland, about 25 km from the Nuremberg metropolitan region. Perfect to reach by car or train. The house offers 4 bedrooms (three upstairs, one in the basement), a large living room with dining area, bathroom, kitchen and a conservatory and terrace with fantastic views! Bicycles can be safely stored in the lockable shed. Bed linen, towels and shower towels are provided, hairdryer is available.

The apartment is located on the ground floor of a former schoolhouse dating from 1888. The apartment is ideally located between Franconian Switzerland (a popular climbing and hiking area), Erlangen (university, Siemens) and Nuremberg (trade fair, Christmas market). It owes its special charm to the many architectural elements (e.g. Franconian floorboards). The garden invites you for breakfast, barbecue and relaxation, the direct surroundings for extensive hikes and bike tours.

Sie liegt am südlichen Eingangstor zur Fränkischen Schweiz in Thuisbrunn, nur etwa 5 Autominuten von Gräfenberg entfernt. Die ortsansässige Brauerei Elch Bräu – Gasthof Seitz ist in wenigen Schritten erreichbar. Thuisbrunn befindet sich direkt am bekannten Fünf-Seidla-Steig® – ideal zum Wandern, Genießen und Entdecken.

The apartment Haus Anna is located on the eastern outskirts of Gräfenberg and is the ideal starting point for your activities in Franconian Switzerland and the Nuremberg metropolitan region. Here, outdoor enthusiasts (climbing, cycling, hiking, fossil collectors, etc.)families with children, as well as city travelers (e.g. Nuremberg, Forchheim, Lauf an der Pegnitz, Bamberg) get their money's worth and find the right mix of nature experience and sightseeing.

Holiday apartment in the Scheunenviertel

The self-contained apartment is located within our residential building (former barn). It is completely renovated and 53 m². Next to the bed in the bedroom there is a sofa bed in the living room. It is a good starting point for extensive hikes, climbing tours and excursions. Some of them start right outside the front door. Parking spaces are in the immediate vicinity. For bicycles, there is storage space in the entrance area of the house (indoors).

Adjacent to the nature reserve is our romantic chalet, which invites you to spend relaxing days together as a couple. With magnificent views, you can look over the Pegnitztal and relax. Relax in the hot tub with waterfall, enjoy the warmth of the Swiss pine infrared chairs or simply feel comfortable on the covered terrace and listen to the rippling of the spring.

Small, open-plan apartment/granny flat on the ground floor with fitted kitchen (coffee machine, toaster, kettle, fridge with freezer), bathroom (shampoo, shower gel, etc.) with shower and toilet, towels, bed linen, hairdryer. Bedroom with wardrobe, living room with sofa bed, dining table, TV. Please let us know if you want us to make the sofa bed. Families with children are very welcome, there is a high chair available as well as various toys.
