I came to Goves in the off season, knowing that most things would be shut, so it was important to have place that I could cook a meal and be really comfortable and really relax, and this was exactly what I got. The hosts were amazing, and so generous with the welcome package, it made the day so special. I will definitely be back. if you want to really chill, have a bit of a digital detox, get back in touch with nature then this is the place for you!

We spent wonderful and relaxing holidays in Dimitri's apartment. The apartment is fantastically beautiful and tastefully furnished, with high-quality furniture and it really lacks nothing. The terrace has a unique beautiful view of the sea and we spent many beautiful hours there. Dimitris is super friendly, always available and with helpful tips for excursions, restaurants, etc. he helped us a lot. He also organised the transfer from the airport and it worked out perfectly. The location of the apartment is also perfect. Supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance and the bus station is just across the street. We highly recommend the apartment, for us the most beautiful so far and we will gladly think back to the time and come back soon.

This is everything you hope for in an Airbnb. Beautiful, cozy, all the details and above all, hospitality. The house was full of art and personal touches, which we all appreciated. They had thought of everything a guest might need. Alexis brought us delicious food. The yard was private, and I took multiple naps on the patio. My family and I loved this little house. Because we were just a short walk from Knossos Palace, it was easy for us to get there before the crowds. I recommend getting tickets for 8 am to beat the crowds and the heat. Thank you 😊

This property is on the top of our list of all of the Super-host level properties we’ve been at whether Air B&B or any other platform. Premium quality and high marks for design aesthetics promoting maximum relaxation inside or in the yard with breathtaking views all day long and spectacular sunsets. All meals at the property must be had out doors! It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to family. John & Autumn

May 2025, 10 nights stay for three (2 adults, 1 toddler). Villa is really fantastic. Beautiful view of the sea and the bay. It offers plenty of space for more people (2 couples, 4-6 friends, 2 families) and for longer stays (storage space, cupboards and shelves, etc.). The furnishings correspond to the description and offer, even in the kitchen, everything you need. Our highlight was the covered terrace. Our flight was moved up at short notice. A significantly earlier check-in was no problem at all in our case. Stelios is a very friendly, helpful and dedicated host. We recommend him and his villa without reservation. Small limitation: the accommodation is a bit off the beaten track or the region is a bit urbanised (mainly due to the geography of the terrain). Without your own car, it will be a bit difficult in our opinion. However, there is a free parking space directly at the house.

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the roof terrace and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought the sea would be missing, but that wasn't the case at all. We really came to rest – walks in the area were enough for that. Actually, we planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice excursions, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

The place is good located, calm and not far from the restaurants and the shops. Everything was well organized and the communication with George and Giorgos was very smooth!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The reception was friendly. George spontaneously picked us up and went shopping with us. Since we had difficulties with the rental car, George helped us directly to find another cheap car rental and announced us directly there. He gave us useful tips for our excursions. He recommended a great restaurant and even announced our arrival there. He provided us with new towels, bed linen and washing powder directly on request. We even received a gift. The view from the balcony to the sea was great. Georges' garden was also very lovingly laid out, where we could sit. The beach was a 5-minute walk away and the most beautiful in the area with very clear water. We recommend the place 100 percent. If you book there, you should book a rental car, as the supermarket and restaurants are at least 2 km away. Thank you, Georg, for 10 beautiful days of holiday. We will be happy to come back.

this was an unexpected Oasis -- it is a family-owned compound, though family members were nearly invisible, offering help but allowing LOTS of privacy. There is a constant breeze in this remote place, and we were happy NOT to have a car so that we understood the property and the 25 minute walk that separates it from the busyness of Heraklion. we sometimes walked down the hill for dinner or to take the bus to town, but ultimately cooking and eating on the patio (and enjoying the pool after the trek home) were treasured activities after the crowds of Athens and even the Heraklion cruise people. Wish we had stayed longer-- few places we have planned in Crete offer this private and comfortable outdoor space. This family is special. 💕

Tasos is an extremely welcoming host. When we arrived late, we found a generously stocked fridge and freezer. Fruits, jams, rusks and cold and hot drinks were waiting for us. And Tasos was absolutely adorable to make our stay easier. We really appreciate it. Her apartment is very nice , the jacuzzi and the beautiful view make it a rare find. We highly recommend this rental, even more appreciated thanks to the many details Tasos has thought of.

The apartment is very pleasant : clean, modern, spacious and perfectly equipped. The small balcony and roof terrace are a real plus and add to the apartment's charm. Erietta and Manolis provide numerous recommendations for discovering Heraklion and its best addresses, which is particularly appreciated. Very responsive and attentive, they ensure that everything runs smoothly. An excellent experience, which I recommend without hesitation!

I‘m more that happy that we decided to stay at Dimitri‘s place. He ish very kind and helped us right away, if we had any questions. The location is peaceful and has a great view. The beach is not far away and the size of the apartment is just perfekt for a single person or a couple. I will definitely visit again.
