He named it “Cooinda” an aboriginal name for a “place of happy meetings”The property is located on the golden mile just past the township of Mt Macedon and nearby to Hanging Rock. It is surrounded by botanical parkland gardens, with the sounds of birds and wildlife with nature at its best amongst this private secluded haven, with some of the oldest and largest trees in Mt Macedon.

An EXTRA 4 ppl can be accommodated externally to the main house. The A frame hut sleeps two (unheated). An additional 2pp riverside bungalow room with french doors and it’s own deck by the river. Book for 8 people to unlock all rooms. No pets, no parties or camping. Quite after 12am.

This property is a mere 3 minutes up the hill from Warburton village but feels much more tucked away. There are two buildings here which were thoughtfully built to face in opposite directions for maximum privacy. Lots to see on the grounds including the creek and lush gardens. If you want to venture further on foot or by mountain bike you will find you are very near the 30 km long O'Shannassy Aqueduct trail and the Warburton trail which goes as far as Lilydale.
