Great communication and quick responsive time. Asked what time we would arrive roughly so they could have a fire going prior. We needed extra towels and needed help with using oven and Lars came to help with friendly and professional manner. very quiet and beautiful spot to relax. it was just what we were looking for and very grateful for their time and assistance

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Matt’s beautiful cottage near the Yarra Valley. Even though it was raining during our visit, the stunning views from the cottage more than made up for it — it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The cottage was cosy, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay — a clean bathroom, washer and dryer, Netflix, and even a Nespresso machine for our morning coffee. Sarah was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special highlight for my son was getting to meet their adorable family pony, Little Penny — such a sweet touch that made our stay even more memorable. We truly appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings and would highly recommend this lovely spot to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Thank you for the lovely stay!

The cottage was the perfect location for a self-catered riding holiday - decent-sized kitchen and Wangaratta, Beechworth and Bright are all ridable from the cottage gate. The rural surrounds make for a picturesque and peaceful location.

Great location, easy access to some great wineries and a wonderful place to relax.

What a gem! Cosy, comfortable and clean. Great location as a base to explore nearby. Vickie and Ed were fabulous hosts. The kids adored the goats! Thanks Vickie and Ed for being such wonderful hosts and having us.

The perfect bushwalker, dog lover and nature seeker get-a-away with all the basic necessities for a comfortable and scenic stay. The large fully fenced area around the cabin was perfect for my eager border collie and husky to roam independently. Also lots of dog friendly walks to drive to, although the area is mostly surrounded by National Parks, so super great for walking without dogs too. The cabin is warm with closed-in fireplace and open plan rustic style with all the necessities so plenty of room for a couple. And the enclosed garden lovely for evenings under the stars or breakfasts in the sun. I loved it! Big Smiles…

What's not to love: Lee was proactive in letting us know what special events were on during the Anzac Weekend. The cottage was extremely cosy and well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Nights were spent in front of the wood fire heater with a good book and glass of wine. We also enjoyed the experience of going outside at night to see a sky full of stars. Lee generously provided as with lovely homemade slices, biscuits,fruit and fresh milk. We also loved being able to pick fresh herbs from the garden to cook with. We appreciated the proximity to the centre of Stanley with it's historic buildings. Beechworth was easy to get to but we loved returning to Stanley. We would definitely recommend this place to fellow traveller's. Thank-you for your warm hospitality Lee

Thank you Kat & Angus for having us over our long weekend. We loved the cosy studio with homemade items and treats. It was lovely to get acquainted with the farm animals. We would highly recommend this stay to others and would love return some time!

Helen and Craig are both very lovely hosts. They provided clear instructions to the property and offered great local recommendations. The house was spotlessly clean and smelled like a brand-new home. The bed was super comfy, and the place had everything needed for a comfortable stay. They also ensure we were warm enough, which was much appreciated during the cold weather. I would definitely return when visiting Mt Buller or Mansfield!

We loved staying in The Grain Shed. It’s very spacious, well-furnished and decorated. It was lovely to arrive to find the place heated and beers in the fridge after a long drive. Being on the outskirts of Euroa, the property is very peaceful and relaxing but still only a short drive to town. Daniel and Sophie were great hosts and we highly recommend their place.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Star gazing in the hot tub was our highlight. Would recommended it for anyone who loves the farm and being with nature. We saw alpacas and kanagaroos in the backyard. Very high quality kitchenware when cooking up a storm. Great night sleep, the mattress and pillows were comfy! Only feedback is to have entrance lights/driveway lights to the cottages. Note, we arrived quite late in the dark. Otherwise, loved the experience!

We had a fabulous time staying here! The photos really don’t do the property justice, it was just beautiful. A great place if you’re looking for a peaceful and remote getaway. Kate was extremely accommodating and thoughtful, checking in to make sure we had enough blankets. We were extremely cosy with the gorgeous fire. Overall a great spot, we would love to return in the future. ☺️

Beautiful stay on Paramoor winery. The cottage was comfortable, warm with heating and a wood-burner, and the property is really peaceful. 10 minutes drive from Kyneton, Lancefield and Woodend, and wineries. The wine at Paramoor was delicious - we had a lovely tasting with Sam. Thank you!

A little haven in the country. So peaceful and quiet and just what the doc ordered. Beautifully appointed, lovely and warm as the rain lashed down outside and comms with Genevieve were excellent. Everything was top notch and we’d highly recommend a stay here with the Roos for company!

A rare gem—pure bliss by the lake! We stayed one night at Cottage by the Lake, but it felt like a world away from everything. Just 5 minutes from Hanging Rock, this stunning waterfront property features two tranquil lakes, complete with a rowboat and kayaks that guests are free to enjoy. The cottage itself is warm, inviting, and beautifully appointed with a wood fireplace (firewood generously supplied). The upper-level attic bedroom is spacious and cosy, while the well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hosts Ann and Kevin were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We’d be remiss not to mention Jock, the sweetest dog who welcomed us on arrival and came by for regular visits. He loves pats and hugs and truly made us feel at home. This place is a nature lover’s paradise—kangaroos all around, stunning views, and absolute peace. A rare find we won’t forget. Wish we stayed longer. We will be back for a longer visit next time!

I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a truly unique experience. My partner and I stayed here and had an amazing time. Lynne is a fantastic host, we had a great all around stay and best of all was meeting all of the animals of the sanctuary.

We had the best stay at The Kingsley! Our family of 7 adults stayed to celebrate my Mum’s 60th Birthday. The house was very comfortable, warm & beautifully furnished. The layout was spacious & perfect for our family. We were spoilt with the underfloor heating in the bathrooms! On arrival we were treated with some breakfast goods & a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, thoroughly enjoyed! The kitchen was very well equipped, including spices & cookbooks. The beds were comfortable & cosy. Outside, the grounds were very well kept, including a fire pit. Both the wood fire inside & the fire pit had everything needed to get them started. Thanks for a great stay!

Antonelle’s house was the perfect place for a girls weekend away. Close to some great wineries and local produce stores. The house itself was comfortable and cosy, very clean and tidy. The wildlife and horses were a bonus. Great views of the city too. Thank you for having us. We thoroughly enjoyed are time there.

This Farmstay was one of our favourite places that we have stayed not only in Victoria but across the various states and countries to which we have travelled. Veronica has really thought through the guest experience and has everything covered that you could think of. The surrounds and views are stunning, the interior of the property is so well done and the animals amazing (bird life, farm animals and native wildlife (especially Wally the wombat)). If anything, the property was better than expected from the photos. Veronica was the perfect balance of helpful and available, whilst respecting our privacy. It is the sort of place where you are central enough to many places to keep you busy or you can be content just staying at the property, doing very little and enjoying the spa bath. We are already planning our next visit for later this year!

We loved our stay here! The view is even better than the photos, with gorgeous countryside all around. It's a quiet, peaceful, and private spot. You’ll need a car though, since it’s in a rural area. The apartment was clean and well stocked. We appreciated the quality sheets, pillows, and towels, and the bed was comfy. We both slept well. The space felt roomy for two, which made it easy to relax. The kitchen was stocked with thoughtful basics like bread and eggs, which was a nice touch. Check-in was smooth and the instructions were clear. A couple of small downsides: the internet was hit or miss. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow to load a basic webpage. The washer/dryer wasn’t working, which was inconvenient. There was a sign offering a pick-up and drop-off laundry service, but we didn’t use it since we prefer to do our own washing (my wife has certain items that need to air dry). Even so, we had a great time and would happily recommend this Airbnb. A lovely, quiet place to unwind.

Anna, was very responsive and gave us much consideration and helpful instructions regarding parking 3 of our trailers! She had a book of all the local spots which made us feel comfortable at home. Thanks again Anna!
