Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

The cottage is heated either by an electric boiler with wiring to the entire building or by a wood-burning fireplace.

Our house is a 270-year-old timber-framed house that we have lovingly renovated and remodeled. As far as possible, we have preserved or restored the old wooden floorboards or wooden framework. Our garden is designed in such a way that living beings that are native there can still feel comfortable, such as salamanders, hedgehogs, fireflies, kingfishers and wild bees. Unsere schöne Wohnung befindet sich im Dachgeschoss, liegt direkt an der Elbe und ist ca. 75qm groß. Sie bietet viel Licht und Platz, komfortable Betten, eine wunderschöne Aussicht, eine voll ausgestattete Küche und einen privaten Parkplatz. Nach einer langen Wanderung oder Fahrradtour lässt es sich wunderbar auf dem Balkon am Wasser entspannen. Wer noch Lust hat, kann 5 Minuten spazieren gehen und die Muskeln in der Therme entspannen.
