Original farmhouse from 1756 - Villa Straussengut

According to documents from the 15th century as "Marshallgut," the house was built around the turn of the 18th to 19th century, it was managed by the farmer Franz Meyrl, known as "Strauss," and thus came to be called "Straussengut." From the turn of the 20th century, it was run as a restaurant "Zu den 4 Jahreszeiten" (To the 4 Seasons). In 1937, the Oesterley family took over the property and continued to run the house as a guesthouse called "Eselsbachfarm" and an artists' meeting place.

The apartment is on the first floor of our multi-part house. It is ideal for small families. Also pets are welcome. There is a folding double bed in the apartment, as is a small room with a bunk bed. The area is very quiet and you have a very nice view of Lake Attersee.
