Peaceful lakeside artist's cottage - a tiny house.

CarlRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed in the crows nest as a last minute get away. Lovely hosts and the tiny house was exactly what we was looking for. Compact, unique and beautiful views. It's a great place to stay and has great access to metung and lakes Entrance and a dock if you want to do some fishing!

Alpine Apartment Retreat

TaniaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What can I say about this little corner of paradise? We had the most amazing stay here, and we can’t wait to come back! Everything was so thoughtfully decorated and set up, and the setting and views are killer! Talk about feeling like you’re alone in the middle of nature, but still within minutes of the main drag in Warburton. Just breathtaking and so peaceful. The place was sparkling clean, bed very comfy and we especially loved that there was no TV 😊 An enforced rest and food for the soul.

Halfmooncreek Moondance cottage 8 kms from Bright

LaurenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Half moon was such a stunning place to stay to relax and step away from the stresses of the city. The surroundings were so peaceful and special, waking up to birdsong and beautiful frosty grass that melted away in the rising sun with the misty mountains at your doorstep. The cottage was cozy, quaint and had absolutely everything you could need. The water took a little while to heat up (as is to be expected off grid in the middle of winter!) but it works brilliantly so just wait it out. So many details have been thought out here, local pottery for the mugs, cozy nooks, local cows milk in the fridge on arrival, beautiful wine glasses and the stunning fireplace that added that extra piece of charm. The deck was so nice to sit and take in the view and the company it was worth it even in winter! Such an amazing stay and a wonderful, homely place to disconnect from the world with no service. I will absolutely be back if I can!

Little House on the Hill

BiondiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Bruce was extremely friendly towards us. He greeted us the first time we arrived and immediately started giving us recommendations on what to do around the area. Melinda was also kind enough to provide us with home-baked bread and home-made jam alongside it. It was delicious, we love the lovely hospitality provided by the couple.

My husband and I had a lovely 3 night stay at Kate’s house. The house was cozy and made us feel like we were away on a European holiday. The property is stunning and we would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Luxurious Miners Cottage Riverdowns

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This cabin is a real gem. Genuine peace and quiet, a true escape from humanity, exactly what I was after. Right on the river, I sat down on the perfectly located seat and listened to the rushing water for hours. It was clean, exactly as described and there is no doubt I will be back again someday. Thank You Andrew

Bogaroo Cottage

ChristineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed six nights at Bogaroo Cottage and loved every minute! Such a cozy, comfy, quiet and clean cottage. We toured the area, visiting great wineries and quaint country towns. We clocked up a few miles but Bogaroo was a great place from which to launch our daily explorations, and such a welcoming homely place to come home to each evening. The cottage was equipped with all the things we needed to heat up our pre-prepared meals. Sarah was a great host; easy to communicate with and we knew she was there if we needed anything at all. Sarah even gave us a heads up about the best place on the property to view the Australis Borealis (Southern Lights) event happening one evening during our stay. If we revisit the area we’ll definitely love to stay at Sarah’s cottage.

Farm Stay: Cottage 3 @ Glenbosch Wine Estate

AndyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Star gazing in the hot tub was our highlight. Would recommended it for anyone who loves the farm and being with nature. We saw alpacas and kanagaroos in the backyard. Very high quality kitchenware when cooking up a storm. Great night sleep, the mattress and pillows were comfy! Only feedback is to have entrance lights/driveway lights to the cottages. Note, we arrived quite late in the dark. Otherwise, loved the experience!

Wanderlust - I want something just like this

TahraRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Absolutely gorgeous stay. We had such a great time at this cabin. The views were absolutely stunning. Peaceful and scenic during the day and just magical at night with the moon. The space itself was cosy and beautifully kept and the electric blankets were a really thoughtful touch for winter. Also, don’t let the idea of compost toilets put you off they were super clean, didn’t smell at all and honestly felt no different to a regular bathroom. We were pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend this place if you’re after a romantic or solo getaway.

This great little guest house has all you need and want for. Beautiful views, comfortable, clean and considered amenities and touches throughout. Hosts are thoughtful and kind. I would love to stay again. Special thanks to the patient and encouraging Pepper, who brought my old girl back to her younger days. Best Dalmatian yet.

Grasmere Lodge

JessicaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is the most perfect farm stay. The lodge was secluded and very cosy. It was lovely to have a morning coffee on the couch overlooking the hills and watching the cows and alpacas. We were obsessed with the heated flooring in the bathroom 😂. The wind was quite strong but felt warm and cosy inside. Highly recommend

Pleasant Point Cottage, a Phillip Island haven.

EJRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Everything was STUNNING. The views, the wildlife, the space, the bed, the shower, the added complimentary wine and chocolates were lovely. If you are wanting complete privacy be mindful that the owners house is very close to this space but there's a seperate driveway. This did not demish our experience though. We would come back again just for the serenity 🍃 Thanks Mark!

Serendip "Shack" Glamping on Wallaga Lake

TashRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My partner and I had the most beautiful weekend at Serendip. It was peaceful, relaxing and had everything we needed. Rachel was very accomodating of our late arrival and prompt to respond with any requests we had. The shack is beautifully furnished and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We especially loved the outdoor hot tub and access to the canoe. We will definitely come back!

Artist's Garden Yurt

WendyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
a beautiful, quiet location close to the town centre, in a lovely garden setting with views of luxurious foliage all around. colourful inside and out with the host's original artworks in stunning primary colours, yet with a restful effect. the main bed was extremely comfortable and warm. despite 2 degree mornings, the place heated up fast with effective space heating, although the bathroom remained quite cold (ok with the right clothing). the round yurt shape was intriguing to stay in, requiring one to move in circles most of the time, which was quite relaxing after living with straight lines as we usually do. sally was very helpful, providing the few items i requested very promptly. i would love to visit again, with the wonderful gippsland gallery nearby and the picturesque port and memorable thai and vietnamese restaurants in the town.

The Rocks Studio

NashidRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Deborah and Gram were very nice and easy to communicate during our stay. Gram came in person to let us check in. Loved the complimentary breakfast in the fridge. On our second day Gram came to help to light the fireplace. The view from studio was just dreamy. Unfortunately the weather was just not in favour but had a relaxing weekend inside. Would definitely come back during summer to walk around.

Myers Creek Cascades Luxury Cottages

KerrynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Such a serene place, perfect place to stay especially if wanting a romantic get away with your partner. Beautiful wildlife especially having lyrebird spotting, sounds of the rainforest with the waterfall, a nice spa to get into when wanting to relax. There’s no wifi or struggle to gain data/reception the best bet is to bring either a hotspot box if wanting one or extra things like books, or other things to relax. They have a wonderful selection for breakfast but if lactose intolerant they don’t offer that but they do give gluten free little biscuits which is so kind as well! I am so grateful for this to be my first night away with my partner and will definitely be coming back.

Bright Lavender. Mud Brick Miners Cottage 1

BeverleyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Staying at Elizabeth’s was like a balm for the soul. We loved the fire, the birdlife and the beautiful Autumn colours. The cabin was clean, cosy and very comfortable. It was a haven to come home to after a day of cycling or exploring. Liz happily delivered more wood when the supply was low. Thank you Liz for making us feel so welcome. We were sorry to leave and will definitely be back.
