House holiday rentals in Gieten

There were four of us for four days and it was very pleasant to stay in the garden. We had our peace of mind at the campsite and a lot of privacy due to the hedge. The garden was generally very nice with the dining table, the hammock and the sitting area. It's not incredibly big inside, but the space was still very good! Linette was super friendly and everything worked out with the check in.

Our stay was really super everything was as described. We were welcomed super warmly and said goodbye. It was really a great weekend again and again.

the communication was great, the accommodation was more than enough and the soul is much better after the weekend there. highly recommended.

Super cute and stylishly decorated little cottage for up to 4 people. Very clean, everything you need is available in the kitchen, e.g. a microwave is there. There is also a small but fine, fully fenced garden. Totally easy check-in and check-out. Communication with the host is great. She responded very quickly and kindly. But our absolute highlight was the sand dune nearby,mega beautiful We were definitely completely satisfied and can recommend the cottage and the hostess without hesitation. Full five stars

We, 2 adults & 2 boys aged 7 and 11 years felt right at home in the accommodation. It was super clean and lovingly furnished. Everything we needed was there. Both the terrace at the house and the terrace by the water invite you to spend wonderfully cozy hours. In the park itself, the children were able to ride their scooters, jump on the trampoline, swim in the indoor swimming pool or pedal boat. Janna and Christof are great hosts who respond immediately and were friendly, helpful and accommodating at all times.

We stayed with 3 adults for 3 nights in the beautiful bungalow and had booked the wellness package with sauna and hot tub at an additional cost, which we did not regret. :-) The location of the bungalow right on the edge of the forest was just perfect, beautifully quiet and in the middle of nature. Messages and questions were answered quickly and helped directly. We had to do in advance that there is not much to see in the vicinity and therefore had packed our bikes, otherwise you can reach everything else in just under 10 minutes by car. For families with children, the Capfun campsite with swimming pool, large sandy beach, indoor playground and much more is right next door.

Last weekend I had an unforgettable stay with friends in a beautiful house surrounded by nature. The house was spacious and comfortable, ideal for our group. The area offered plenty of opportunities for relaxation and adventure, with beautiful walks and a visit to a charming village. It was a perfect weekend to enjoy and recharge together, and we look forward to coming back again.

We had a lovely stay in this clean and cozy house. The beds are lovely and there is beautiful art. My friend (friend writes text) asked me to marry at the lighthouse during our stay, that of course makes this stay extra special! Recommended! Also super close to bakery, bus and dunes :)

Stayed here for the 2nd time, to full satisfaction. Everything very neat and clean. You can use the bikes. We definitely hope to come another 3rd time. Thanks for everything!

Karolien was very friendly.She personal received us.Karolien’s place was very neat and clean.The house was decorated very cutely.The kitchen has everything you need.The place has a beautiful garden that our toddler enjoyed.There are toys and board games and colouring etc which was very thoughtful.Giethoorn was a half hour drive from here.We also explored the town.Overall we enjoyed our stay here😄.

We stayed a few days during the Christmas holiday in this beautiful cottage. We so much enjoyed this romantic characteristic Eilander cottage ❤️ We found the bedstee so cozy and the decor is very cozy. We felt completely at home and were very sorry to leave. The contact with Alida was also very pleasant! If you are looking for a cottage to slow down, sleep in a bed, play games at the nice dining table and sink into the soft cuddle bench, then we can definitely recommend this cottage! In addition, Schiermonnikoog is a great place and the cottage is fantastically located in the village 👌🏻✨

Nice and spacious vacation home in a convenient place, everything well arranged. Nice atmosphere in the cottage and Lauwersoog and nature reserves nearby. Recommended!

This quirky cottage is very well equipped, full of character and set in a beautiful and tranquil location. The local town of Oldberg offers a supermarket, bakery and chemist shop plus a couple of café/restaurants and the cottage is close enough to the major routes so as to offer easy access to larger settlements such as Zwolle and Heerenveen. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the property to those seeking a bit of peace and quiet in pleasant surroundings.

We were surprised by the large of the house. 3 large bedrooms, where the curtains unfortunately let a lot of light through. Nice spacious living room and dining table. We just missed some mirrors. 1 mirror on the bathroom for in my case 6 women is really too little. Should have hung a mirror in the bedrooms. But price technically definitely very interesting and highly recommended.

Pauline is a lovely host and very welcoming. The backyard and the plants were the highlight for us. The place is very homely and well maintained.

We had wonderful days! A very comfortable cottage that was not lacking, in a very quiet area, in the middle of the meadow. A short distance from Leeuwarden. Very friendly owners. Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful week at Aagje in Een-West. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden. Good beds. We met wonderfully sunny weather. Since it is still early in the year, it was also wonderful to sit in the igloo greenhouse at the end of the afternoon;where it was warmed up by the sun. Aagje is a very sweet hostess;cheerful,interested and always willing to give information about the beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed Getelo very much. If you love nature and are looking for peace and quiet, you're in the right place. Also the surrounding places, you are directly in Holland, e.g. the Künstlerstatt Ootmaarsum was a real highlight and a recommendation from Joop. The space is our absolute recommendation.
