For the lover of peace and space. In the middle of the beautiful scenic landscape of the Westerkwartier is our farmhouse. We rent out the old chicken shed as a Bed and Breakfast. In the area you can feel free to go hiking or cycling. Directly at a junction route. Public transport and a supermarket are within cycling/walking distance. Drachten and Groningen are 15-25 minutes away by car. Leeuwarden is about 45 minutes drive. Breakfast package possible, preferably passed on before arrival.

Gelegen aan de N358 ben je zo weer onderweg voor een bezoek aan de Waddeneilanden of de elf steden in Friesland. Onze tuin grenst aan de weilanden van Staatsbosbeheer en heeft een weids uitzicht. We had a great time - Maurits and Anke were really quick in responding to questions. The studio is really cozy and has everything needed for our three nights (if one would want to cook, it would be possible). We were welcomed by lovely Friesian cookies, always an highlight! We went for a day trip to Schiermoonnikoog which we can highly recommend!

The barn was such a lovely place to stay for a peaceful weekend. Caroline and Bart were so helpful and gave fantastic recommendations. If you’re looking for day trips, it’s also a perfect base for exploring. We drove 30 minutes to catch a ferry to one of the nearby islands and it was perfect. The barn has loads of space and a lovely picnic table outside that was in sunshine and perfect for eating/drinking. Will definitely return.

We stayed in a lovely old caravan from 1949 with special carvings and engraved windows. There was a good wood-burning stove and ample wood to burn. When the sun was shining, the car automatically got nice and warm. We enjoyed the garden, the birds and the natural surroundings. Aagje was a very friendly host.

Henk's bungalow is a real insider tip for a quiet holiday. Everything was available and we didn't lack anything. From refrigerator, freezer, AirFryer and oven to towels and toilet paper & co, everything was there. We felt very comfortable right away. In the garden, there are 2 seating areas and also a clothesline - we were also allowed to use the washing machine. Very helpful. In the village there is a small supermarket and everything you need. Groningen is also not too far away by bike, about 10km. We would book the AirBnB directly again. Thank you for the hospitality!

We had a great time at the place! The apartment was the same as in the photos – clean and very comfortably furnished. The location was perfect for relaxing. Quiet and open. The jacuzzi sweetened our evenings! Everything about instructions for the apartment or for the Jacuzzi is very well listed! Communication with Lisette was friendly, fast and uncomplicated from the beginning. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend the place!
