The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Stylish and cozy funky cabin built in 2019. The cabin is located right by Hallingdalselva, only 2 km from Ål city center. High and low climbing park is only 300m away, and about 500m away is Strandafjorden swimming area! Ål ski center is 8 km away and Geilo only 23 km. Hemsedal ski resort is 56 km from the cabin. Hardangervidda about 35 km. In the surrounding mountains you can pick and choose from fantastic ski slopes in winter and hiking trails in summer! The activity opportunities are just as good in winter as in summer!

Distance to Solseter with marked trails is 1 km. Golsfjellet is 10 km away. The cabin consists of a kitchen with wood stove +2 hobs, bathroom with shower and toilet, loft and living room with double sofa bed. Heated with wood and electricity. I am sure you will enjoy a stay in Geilo and my apartment. Geilo is a beautiful place in winter as summer. It has a lot of activities all season. Ski slopes, cross-country skiing, fishing, walks in the mountains, shopping, restaurants, train station close to the apartment etc ... Geilo offer free bus to all lifts from the big parking by the roundabout. You can bye your fresh bread in the shop on the first floor from 7 am. I wish all my guests welcome and have a lovely stay in Geilo.
