The surroundings with forest, the river Oste and many lakes invite you to hike and cycle.

The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. Our cottage is newly built in 2015. The quiet location offers rest and relaxation for the whole family. The surrounding area invites you to hike, cycle or canoe trips. For those who want cultural or shopping, Bremen, Bremerhaven and Hamburg are also not far away.
