We are pleased to introduce you to our little cosy guest house, De Kluut. The Kluut is a bird from the family of the waders. In the cottage you will find this in a subtle way in the decoration. It is also a reference to the phrase ‘getting to his cluten’, because this guest nest used to be the cell cube of the adjacent governor's barracks. So the former guests had gotten on their "clutes".
