La Hussaire - The Bakery

The Bakery is a 2 bedroomed gite with a double bedroom and a bunk room. Both share a shower room. Lounge/kitchen/diner all in one with a wood burner fireplace. Full central heating. The gite is set in the countryside amongst orchards and pretty gardens with views over the valley. TV, DVD player, WiFi, full oven and hob, coffee maker, microwave and fridge freezer. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Happy Valley is situated in the heart of the Normandy countryside at the end of a no-through road so no noisy passing traffic! It shares the site with our main home and 2 other gites. We're about 45 minutes from Mont St Michel; an hour from Bayeaux, Caen, Mayenne and Fougeres. It's another half an hour to the famous D-Day beaches. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do and of course lots of French markets and vide-greniers!

The remote house sits alone in the hills with no neighbors and has a garden with cherry, apple and walnut trees. Explore the lush green grasslands and charming French hamlets right from the driveway. The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.
