Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Suite de caractère située entre Nîmes et Montpellier et à 30 min des plages. Complètement dédiée à l’évasion, au repos et à la relaxation. Vous y trouverez tout le confort, un lit baldaquin queen, un vrai Jacuzzi américain 3 places, une cheminée électrique, une Tv 55', un canapé-lit, wifi et Netflix. Dans la salle de bain, vous trouverez une double vasque ainsi qu une douche. Dans la cuisine, tout le nécessaire pour réchauffer vos plats vous attend. Inclus place privée.

Charming and Peaceful house, 5 min from Avignon...

It is a very old little house which was part of the abbey in the Middle Ages. It was the monk ancient independant cell who was in charge of the vegetable garden of the monastery. In order to reach it, you must go through the monumental portal of the monastery in the little street where the workshops of the Chartreuse are located! It is available from April 1st till October 31st (during winter, the guests travel themselves to discover the world with Airbnb. fr of course!)

Fully air-conditioned two-bedroom apartment, ideally located between the Arènes and the Maison Carrée, 300 metres from the magnificent Musée de la Romanité. You are a 5-minute walk from Les Halles de Nîmes and close to the Jardin de la Fontaine. The rental includes access to the Arènes car park (maximum height: 1 meter 90) for the duration of your stay, located 200 meters from the apartment. You will be only a few minutes from the train station (approx. 500 meters).

Ecolodge Turtledove includes a large double bed, a walk-in shower, separate toilets, and a private terrace. Homemade breakfasts are included in the price. The pool is shared with the other ecolodge; both can be booked together to accommodate four. Your hosts will remain discreet but are at your disposal should you require anything.
