Newly renovated guesthouse in the heart of Småland

Welcome to the beautiful little resort of Åminne on the western shore of the Vidöstern. Here you can stay in a newly renovated guest house with shower, toilet, kitchen, kitchen island, double bedroom and a sofa bed with room for two. The building was formerly used in the world as a workshop but has been carefully refurbished with many old details saved. Here you live a stone's throw from Åminne Bruk and Lake Vidöstern. It is also close to other excursions such as High Chaparall, Vandalorum, Store Mosse and others. The guesthouse is about 50 sqm.

Nice place to stay in a converted barn

Of course, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to meadows, forest and lake! In 2022, we started an exciting project to convert the barn on my grandfather's family farm into a luxurious holiday home. In May 2023, we finished one apartment and in the fall, the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the balcony in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Charging the car is included in the price.

The holiday home has lax knots and between the logs it is linen. The house is located in scenic surroundings. We live close to our animals and this you have the possibility to participate in. Meet our lovely red cottage in Småland surrounded by forest, hills and lakes. With all the comfort you need for a pleasant stay. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood stove. The house has a big private garden where you can relax and make a campfire at the fire pit. Go fishing or take a swim in one of the lakes nearby. With a bit of luck you see deer and foxes from our sunny porch. Go skiing at the ski-slope, visit a moose park or go down the zippline. From April to October we rent out 2 kayaks.

Swimming areas Nässudden & Osudden are 5 km away these have both jetties and nice barbecue areas. Vandalorum and fantastic beautiful Apladalen are also 5 km away. Store Mosse, High Chaparral and Hestra Mountain resort is between 20 and 45 min drive from the cabin.
