Beachfront farm

Fogensegaarden near Bogense has an unusual location for an old farm. A few meters from the beach on the island of Fogense, which was dammed and the road into Bogense drained and protected by a dike almost 150 years ago. An enterprising farmer, Christian Jensen, built the farm 130 years ago in its current form with a large farmhouse and a humble tenant housing at the southern end. It is the main house, which after several modernizations is now rented out in the coming season to holiday guests.

Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). The house is right on the beach! The view is beautiful and the beach is stunning. The house has been completely renovated to give you a luxurious experience. It has an outdoor spa with a view over the ocean and it’s 40 degrees varm all year long. It also has an outdoor sauna also with a view over the ocean, and an outdoor shower. If you have used the outdoor grill, please make sure to clean it before your checkout just like you clean pots and pan inside. Thanks so much.
