The Old Museum is a detached self-contained holiday home in the historic and picturesque village of Castle Combe. Situated in the lower village it is just short walk (200m) to the village centre with its pubs, cafe and restaurant. The Manor House Golf Club and Castle Combe Circuit are both within in walking distance and the footpath opposite connects up with a series of walks across the land of the Castle Combe Estate and beyond. The accommodation is designed in an open plan layout containing a bedroom area with queen size bed, living room area with a TV, sofa and log burning stove and a well-equipped kitchenette with a table and chairs. Our double height wood and stone barn directly opposite our house is found at the end of a long private drive in lovely Dorset countryside. A very comfortable 5ft bed, woodburning stove and pretty views, a perfect relaxing and cosy retreat. Easy access to lots of interesting places. Guests can play tennis and croquet. The Barn sleeps two adults. Ample parking directly next to Barn. Please note the Barn unsuitable for children and infants. NB There are no shops or pubs within walking distance.

Lavender Cottage Blue Goose Holidays.

Our cottages Pears and Lavender are located just 2 minutes walk from the centre of our fantastic village of Beckington. The house looks over fields and countryside yet we are only 12 miles from Bath and 3 miles from the very cool town of Frome. We have a farm shop and cafe right on your door step as well as two great pubs. all perfect for your stay so you can enjoy country walks, log fires and we welcome well behaved dogs.
