Magical vacation barn in the "Alte Ölmühle" estate

Our "Alte Ölmühle" is located in Engen-Anselfingen, in the Hegau and in the midst of a volcano and castle world in the west of Lake Constance. We expanded our vacation barn in 2022 and renovated it in the charm of the old farm estate with lots of wood and luxury. Starting in 2022, we will rent the entire barn with a large kitchen and common room, from where 3 units with 2 rooms and a bathroom each will branch off. We offer many extras on our horse farm with an idyllic stream and schnapps distillery.

Heubodenloft - modern country living

You live in a modern converted loft in the hayloft of the former barn. From your balcony, you have a view of the "Ostweg", a hiking trail which runs just a few meters from the house. The horses invite you to linger. Join them and enjoy the sweeping view towards the northern Black Forest. The garden with its fruit trees provides delicious fruit and apple juice. Enjoy country life not far from Rottweil, the oldest town in Baden-Württemberg, and reconnect with nature at this retreat.

Unfortunately, not much is left of the original building from the 17th century, as it was converted into a shepherd's house in the 1870s, and later changed again The house has now been rebuilt and has plenty of space for you all by yourself. Vacation home "Am Storchennest" Our former farm is located in Teningen near Freiburg, a place with plenty of sun and a great, warm climate. It is ideally located between Kaiserstuhl and the Black Forest. Here in the special ambience of the old estate with the beautiful courtyard, you can live well and quietly. The apartment is on the second floor of the former hay barn overlooking the Black Forest and (!) the stork nest.
