There is a short distance to swimming areas and the campsite and the convenience store is only a 10-minute walk away. The house is from 1850 and is completely renovated in 2022. There are new queen sized beds with new Scandinavian duvets and pillows, one in the main floor and one in the loft. Perfect for a couple or a family with two teenagers, children or young persons that can clime the stair to the loft. There is also a crib for small babies.

The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.

Cabin by the sea.

Great cabin where you live "on" the water. The cabin is located at Ystehede, by the Iddefjorden, about 10 km from the center of Halden. Here, guests have access to a floating jetty with a bathing ladder, as well as a beach consisting of stone and sand. Here there is outdoor furniture, a gas grill and opportunities to moor your own boat. Here there are many hiking trails in the forest and if you have your own boat you can fish or take the sea route to Halden and on to the Hvalerøyene.

A small and charming house by the sea

The house is located 40 metres from the sea and has a fantastic view of Vestfold. Here you can enjoy a spa, barbecuing with a gas grill, a covered seating area and some fantastic sunsets. It's about a 2-minute walk down to the beach where you can swim, dive and jump from the jetty, or enjoy a long, beautiful sandbank that the kids love. Inside, there are most of the amenities, and the view of the fjord is just as good from the sofa. The house is located near the bottom of a cul-de-sac.
