My family had a wonderful stay at Susan’s place! It was very clean, well stocked, spacious, and accurately described. My toddlers especially loved playing with the toy trains. There was also a welcome bottle of wine with cheese and crackers which was so thoughtful. The location was great and only a short walk to town. We were visiting for a college reunion and will definitely look to stay here on future trips.

This is so convenient and right in the heart of Amherst. We met in Amherst the first few weeks of college and went back to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary. This apartment makes you feel like you are living in town and it gives you access to a great morning stroll to Amherst coffee and a pastry to grab a coffee a block away. It was very nice and also had a great easy key code situation. In addition, parking is easy and very plentiful. We also liked the way the apartment was so cozy. It was just the 2 of us this time, but we are already planning to come back with our kids (the apartment has a pull out sofa with a door that closes so allows the parents and kids privacy) as the bathroom is in the hall. It would also be great for parents visiting their kids at school and is a much cheaper option than the Boltwood Inn! I can’t say enough good things! We will certainly be back again and again! Very satisfied!!!

This was such a lovely space, with beautiful art and light. Has everything you need and many thoughtful touches. Very walkable to downtown area with lots of food and shop options. Would stay again!

This is my second time staying at one of Susan‘s places in this building. Both units are exceptionally organized, clean and have everything you need. Nice touches include the welcoming bottle of wine, cheese and crackers! Appreciate all the great local recommendations for restaurants and shopping. It’s the perfect location for anyone planning to visit their student at Smith College. 15 minute easy walk to just about anywhere on campus. Having offstreet parking included is such a bonus.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for our group. The kids loved the games and toys, and the fireplace made for a great place to relax after skiing. The location, just 15 minutes from Berkshire East, was ideal. That said, winter travelers should be prepared for challenging road conditions. It snowed heavily during our stay, and while private plowing services arrived, it was usually around 11 a.m. If it snows overnight, expect to shovel the large driveway to get the cars out early in the morning. The roads are steep and not always well-plowed, so a four-wheel-drive vehicle, winter tires, or chains are highly recommended. On our last morning, a tree fell out front, blocking the road and knocking out power. These things happen, and it wasn’t the host’s fault, but the remote location means services may be limited. Despite that, we had a wonderful time!

I wish I had known about this property sooner for my visits to Amherst College. It was better than advertised. Sunny, clean, comfortable and so close to walk to town. My whole family enjoyed it very much.

We had a fantastic stay! The location couldn't have been better - we were in town for a concert and could walk to the venue and to restaurants. The house had great charm and was exactly as described. We had a group of 6 and it was perfect for us. We would most definitely stay again.

Cathryn and Michael are the best. Cathryn was very understanding about my late arrival after the check-in time. Cathryn was up and welcomed me upon my late arrival. Cathryn and Michael are very welcoming and make you feel like their home is your home. I greatly admire how they are living sustainably and are local hero farmers. My 11-day stay at Mary's was truly tranquil and restorative. The grounds are exquisitely maintained, full of color and delight. it was lovely to wake each morning see new blooms opening up into the day. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, allowing for outdoor meals & long afternoons reading on the back porch-the only sounds wind in trees, water in nearby streams, birdsong & in the evenings, the trill of peepers by the pond. all with the stunning view of the mountains in the distance. The house itself is beautifully appointed, furniture, beds, bedding and decor, all high quality. The kitchen is totally stocked with first-rate appliances, a joy to cook in. and I can say without any doubt, this is the only airbnb i've stayed in where the artwork and the books were EXCELLENT. Mary is the best kind of host- helpful, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive. Her attention to detail and kind consideration were likewise everywhere evident. I can't wait to return! thank you Mary!
