Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Franche-Comté

Private getaway on the shore of Lake Geneva outside Lausanne

We wanted a place to have some peace and quiet in the middle of nature and that is exactly what Amélie’s place is. She lives right next to the stay, however she fully respected our privacy. Amélie explained us very clearly how everything works in the house (dry toilet, how to light and manage the fire place). There is no fridge, but there is a cool room + a water fountain in which you can put the food and it preserves cold. Amélie was very friendly and we communicated very well. All in all, our experience was very nice and we hope to return some day.

We highly recommend Frédéric's accommodation. He is a responsive and very friendly host. Frédéric advised us to take a drive a few kilometres away, to a waterfall at the source of the Ain. We were lucky to have a private tour of his farm located in the village, it was great and very informative. The house is as described, everything is there to spend a good weekend. Thanks again! we had a great 2-night stay in your accommodation. you always responded kindly to my messages before our arrival. Céline was also great. The house is big enough to accommodate the 8 people planned. The garden, the petanque court, the badminton net, the deckchairs: everything is there for a total disconnection. The meat from your farm on the brazier was just excellent. Thank you also for the small touches on arrival. In short, we recommend +++ this stay at Simon and Blandine's. Thank you very much!

Delphine is a lovely, very warm hostess. The cottage was very welcoming, nicely decorated with all the basic products available. The environment is beautiful. I really recommend it

Guillaume is a great host. The place is amazing and had everything we needed. It's very private and there are no neighbours, so it's perfect for a retreat. Guillaume showed and explained everything to us during check-in, so we felt right at home. It's a large but still comfortable place with lots of fun activities in and around the house. He even accommodated an early check-in and late check-out for us.

Our stay went very well in the house. Marie was a perfect host: she was very pleasant by message, flexible about our arrival, which could be done independently, and attentive thanks to the many small details left in the accommodation. The house is impeccable, very clean, and sublime in terms of decoration. The terrace with the Nordic bath is a real plus. If you're staying in the area, this is probably the perfect place. I was in this accommodation for the second time, it is very cozy, well equipped and quietly located and you can make a variety of excursions from there.

Once we arrived Bart greatest is. He was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. His place was clean and it was definitely what was pictured. The location was peaceful and the ability to sit in the Hot tub in the evening time and gaze out at the mountains and listen to the cowbells. I would highly recommend this place.

This accommodation in the heart of Dijon is awesome. Exceptional furnishings, clean and equipped with everything a household needs. Not to mention the garage in the backyard. We got to know Sylvie and her daughter Matilde. Very lovely, nice people. All questions were answered very quickly and once helped with a concern immediately. If we come back to Dijon or the surrounding area, there is no alternative to this great accommodation.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit is clean and comfortable for our family of five (one infant). It has a separate entrance for guests and dedicated parking space. Kitchen is complete with all the appliances & utensils. Elisabeth was super nice and friendly. She brought our kids to see the animals and they love it. She provided some groceries n chocolate and she even baked bread for us. hopefully we have the opportunity to stay here again.

we had a very good stay in Claire and Adrien's accommodation, tastefully decorated accommodation, excellent bedding, the spa bath really a plus after busy days of sightseeing. The only small negative point, if we can say that it is one, is that we would have preferred a dishwasher instead of a washing machine. but it is with great pleasure that we will recommend this accommodation.

Nice apartment (clean and modern inside) with a lake view. I can imagine the fireplace must be nice if going in the winter / after skiing. And the terrace would be very nice in the summer as it’s large and has a nice view. As I happened to be there during off season (early May) and it was raining, I was especially happy to be able to use the sauna just 1 floor below the apt. If you use it, make sure to bring 3-4 one-franc coins (can get some at the store a few houses down on the Main Street), and give it about 40 min on switch option B. Was great for some down time in the mountains!

We had such a great time here! While Zermatt was pretty busy, Nathalie’s place was very quiet with amazing views on the Matterhorn! Would definitely recommend. It’s a bit of a steep walk up, but we brought backpacks instead of suitcases.

The stay was very nice. The place is quiet and peaceful. The decoration of the house is very pretty. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a great stay in this charming house, decorated with great taste. The garden is beautiful, very relaxing, and the pool clearly punctuated our sunny days. Everything was clean, well-equipped, very pleasant to live in. We immediately felt good there. A big thank you also for the warm welcome and easy exchanges throughout the stay. we spent a night in the Villa for the Mother's Day in surprise to our mom. The villa is great, a majestic living room and a larger hot tub than anyone imagined. Our mom really enjoyed the surprise and the places were perfect no complaints! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality.

We loved the place during our stay! It is really beautiful, especially the master suite impressed us. It's a bit remote, but that's exactly what we wanted. A trip to Strasbourg was also possible, about a 50-minute drive. You just can't be on the road without a car😉 I'm sure we'll be back!

A great experience, Fabrice had everything ready for us. My parents spent two unforgettable days on this small farm. The supermarket is close by, and it's more convenient if you have a car — we finally opted for the taxi. I would recommend this lovely little spot to anyone!
