We stayed here to visit someone in Pavia. Antonio's stay is well cared for and well located for Pavia and Milan. 40min south drive and you feel like a landscape like Tuscany. The mattresses and sleeping pillows were wonderful! Normally I have to use my own sleeping pillow and that was not necessary here. Antonio is very friendly and helpful. Responds quickly. The house has a lot of cutlery and cooking equipment, sufficient space, clean and clean, extra blankets for colder periods and good fly screens for mosquitoes. The region itself around Pavia is personally less well cared for and more expensive restaurants compared to even more northern regions in Italy. Other alternatives near the same value for money were not to be found.

To discover Pavia and its surroundings, Luisa's accommodation is ideal. Very easy to access and quiet, in a beautiful green setting, it accommodates four people without problems, is perfectly equipped inside and out and is impeccably clean. A huge favourite for the welcome given to visitors by Luisa and her husband. Available and attentive, they are endearing hosts and with whom communication is very easy. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to discover the beautiful university city of Pavia, its covered bridge, its churches, its typical alleys, its small bars, ice cream parlours and other nice restaurants and its very good atmosphere. In addition, just thirty minutes from Milan by train (and for a ridiculous price of €4.40 per person for a one-way trip), it is an excellent alternative to traffic jams, looking for parking and allows a return to calm after a day spent facing the crowd.

Ideal base to explore Pavia just a few km from Centro Storico. Plus parking next to the door, while that is really problematic in the city itself. The apartment on the ground floor is authentic "vintage" Italian, we suspect formerly inhabited by the elderly parents of the current residents on the first floor. But hey, there was plenty of room for even four people, everything was in good condition and everything worked properly. No complaints whatsoever! Recommended!
