Not dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and toilet, heating cables in the floor. Living room with lounge area, dining table and a cozy fireplace. The bedrooms are very small. Covered porch with outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels are not included. When snow, you have to park by the road and walk the last 50 meters up to the cabin. Parking by the cabin during summer.

Turtagrø 3 bedrooms + loft

Great location for those who like out on a trip, all the year. Fleire 2000 meter stops starting from the cabin door, or short trip by car. About 15 minutes drive to Sognefjellet. 1 km to Turtagrø hotel. Car road to the cabin door from about June to Nov, parking about 1 km from the cabin in winter . Ask about May 1 parking in the fridge in Tindevegen, 2-300 meters from the cabin. Inlaid water and straum. Bed linens can rent for 150kr per person. Guests clean the cabin before departure, but cleaning can be agreed against a price surcharge.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Here you live between two national parks, 15 min by car to Turtagrø and 15 min to Mørkridsdalen. Jostedalen National Park 1 hour away.Eldorado for Running, climbing, cycling and small trips for the whole family. You are surrounded by fishing waters and fishing varieties. The house is spacious both indoors and outdoors, large bolting space for small and large. Nice outdoor space with roof over which is warm on long summer evenings. Great place with amazing views. Nice facilities, one of the houses is completely new and seems high quality built - the other is old, but renovated. A bit tricky to sleep in the attic, because it’s quite low, but the mattress is good. We struggled a bit with the setup since 2 of us were in the house with the kitchen and 2 in the one with the toilet and we would constantly bother each other when using the bathroom or kitchen. Other than that, it was all pretty good. We didn’t realise this is how the setup will be but that’s our fault. The host was very nice and friendly, even helped us with a hairdryer since there was none in the houses.

Staying at Otillie’s cabin was a HUGE splurge for us, but the minimalist cabin is well thought out, nicely designed, and beautifully sited with a SPECTACULAR view up the fjord—enjoyed from the kitchen/living area, bathroom, and MBR. Fabulous! Happily, the cabin is set uphill from town and away from the hordes which descend from the visiting cruise ships. One thing to note however, is that it’s a steep walk up to the cabin—not a problem for us, but could be for someone who doesn’t walk much. We didn’t do any real cooking, but the kitchen had the basics if we had chosen to. We had a wonderful stay at Otillie’s and would love to stay again in the future.

This was likely one of the top 5% of places that I have rented over the years, and I am an avid traveller with >100 AirBnB rentals over the years. The place looks brand new, beautifully decorated, full wall windows with amazing views of the fjord and snow capped mountains. Moreover, the beds are comfortable, bedding great, although linen and towel rentals are not included - extra cost and must be arranged ahead of time. Water toys are available like SUP and boat rental from the owner. We did both, and they were amazing! Well-Stocked kitchen (although sugar and wine opener missing), large refrigerator and freezer, great dishwasher. But the views were the most wonderful and peaceful - we saw dolphins one morning! This place is a true gem, we would definitely highly recommend it to anyone! We can’t wait to come back! Caution: this home is in a remote spot, with only hiking and water sports, no restaurants nor grocery shops around (nearest store 35 min). Narrow roads to place.
