Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Forio

A bright mini-house, in a very central area but at the same time secluded and quiet. Nearby: shops, restaurants, port of Forio, supermarkets, bus stop. The property has everything you need (washing machine, hairdryer, air conditioning, etc.) and also some extras (coffee, tea, salt). Responsive, but not intrusive host. Recommended

I've stayed in many Airbnb's with my family and Giorgio's home in Casamicciola was my favorite. The views and location are amazing, you will never get tired of that view! The town is very accessible and there's plenty to see nearby or by public transport/taxi. The home is quite spacious, 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, perfect for those families/groups wanting their own separate space. Giorgio is very responsive and accommodating, the perfect host!

This place has a million dollar view! We loved the patio and enjoyed our morning coffee & evening wine with the beautiful view each day. The beds were comfortable and the location was very peaceful and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to buy ingredients at the mini market to make carbonara. We wish we had many more days here!

Vito was extremely helpful with lots of knowledge about the local area, provided us with information to make our stay enjoyable. The little apartment was very clean and had a that we needed. The bed was super comfortable. I would recommend a stay here. Perfect location.

Loved staying in Ischia. We only had to walk a few steps from the port to the apartment. Super close and convenient location.

A perfectly situated little apartment with an incredible view of the Marina! We had our pick of restaurants along the waterfront steps from the apartment. Salvatore was super helpful and friendly! He helped us make some restaurant bookings and also lent us some beach towels during our visit. The apartment is small and basic but very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Already miss enjoying a coffee or glass of wine on that balcony with that view!

We spent four days in Ischia. We had a very good time with Cristina and Francesco. The house is close to several points of interest around Forio (Poseidon thermal baths and Citara beach, Sorgeto Bay, source of the Nitrodi Nymphs, Mount Epomeo). With the moped, it is also very easy to reach other destinations on this wonderful island. The house has every comfort including a beautiful garden in front. Cristina and Francesco were always available and kind. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Federica's place. We stayed for a week and enjoyed being central in Forio. We explored a lot of the island and had many swims, the swimming area in Forio is 5 minutes walk away and is beautiful. All the shops and restaurants are very close as well. The only two things to be aware of. 1. You are close to the road so it can be noisy late evening until midnight, or later, when the traffic dies down. 2. We were eaten alive by mosquitos in the bedroom at night so come prepared. Apart from that we had a great week.

Gorgeous / dreamy apartment which feels like it should be in a modern home magazine. We loved the area, great restaurants nearby, Forio port is closer to arrive by boat then Ischia port and once there its only a 25 min walk. There are some famous botanical gardens 10 mins walking from the flat and go first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds. Negombo thermal spa is also a short taxi drive and really special. Spend the whole day there. Great restaurants, massages and pools. We had an amazing holiday on this little gem of an island. Will definitely be back

Bianca’s place was fantastic. Super comfy bed and pillows, easy-to-understand AC unit, couldn’t hear any traffic, and in the heart of Forio. Bianca herself was quick to respond and super friendly.

Maurizio is the most generous and caring host we have ever met. The apartment is very comfortable and clean and has beautiful views over the sea and to the mountain. The location is fantastic with a short walk to the beach and thermal gardens and the bus stop is right outside the apartment with very easy to use buses that run around the Island until late at night. There is so much to see and do on Ischia, we had nearly one week and could have stayed much longer if we had the time, Ischia was our favourite part of our trip and made even more wonderful thanks to Maurizio's wonderful hospitality.

Alessandro is an excellent host – always responsive and available for any kind of advice, from restaurants to excursions. And what about the apartment? The photos don't do justice to the cleanliness, comfort and, above all, the MAGNIFICENT view from the balcony. It's a dream to wake up every morning, open the shutters and find yourself in front of a glimpse of the sea of rare beauty. The location is enviable: the apartment is located right above the hamlet of Sant'Angelo, a real wonder. We really hope to be back soon. Alessandro's apartment is one of those places that, due to the availability of the host, the location and the atmosphere, I can highly recommend. Everything perfect!

We had a wonderful time, and would not hesitate to stay again! The view and beach in front of the apartment was perfect. We never had to leave the area as there are plenty of nice restaurants around the area.

Really enjoyed our visit . The view from the apartment is amazing. Highly recommended. Alessandra and her father Nello , could not be more helpful and made us very welcome. Ischia is a beautiful island and so many places to see.

This apartment was perfect for our 4 days in Forio. The apartment itself was so private but as soon as you left the front door the life of Forio was all around, including some amazing pizzerias, super markets, and the water front. The balcony was perfect for cards and drinks in the sun. The kitchen had everything it needed for cooking (both basic ingredients and pans). The whole apartment was clean and tidy. I would recommend it in a heart beat.

Wonderful stay, I made a late booking and arrived late in the evening without my phone working and yet Giancarlo was very gracious and sweet in his welcome. The place was super clean. My absolute favourite thing was picking the oranges straight from the beautiful garden for freshly squeezed orange juice. Can there be a better way to start your day?? Just gorgeous. Location also wonderful.

Great location with stunning outlook. Gio very helpfully introduced us to a local taxi driver who collected us from port and provided help through the week. Will miss sitting on the balcony watching the world go by.

It’s hard to find somewhere more ideal to stay for a seaside holiday on an island . Michele ( and Rosa’s) place if in the perfect location, a stones throw from the beach, bars and restaurants and the water taxis to drop you off at unique locations for exploring and eating . The apartment has everything you need inviting a sweet balcony looking straight out to the sea, to sit for a morning coffee or aperitif in the evening before heating out for dinner. Sant’Angelo is a beautiful place to visit on the island . Best of all, Rosabell is a highly responsive host with a wonderful personal touch. I’ve been travelling a lot in the past month and have been missing contact with locals due to digital check-ins. Rosa gave us brilliant insights and tips and generally made our trip a Ischia a pleasure.

What a gem of a place and fantastic host! I think this was one of my favorite Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. The place was adorable and you felt the charm of the town inside the home, from the views to all the little details in the amenities in the kitchen. The location couldn’t be any better, you have access to the metro, store for bus tickets, cafe’s, beaches, docks, etc. one of my favorite aspects was the best sunset view of the entire island was located within 5 minutes from the home.

Great place. Very clean. Great host. I’d go back. I love the area and town. So easy to get there and easy to get to the ferry. Also host was very nice.

With a view of the gorgeous sea directly in front of you when you wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night, this place is simply wonderful. Dennis is an ideal host: helpful, communicative, and informative. Sant’ Angelo is walkable with no cars, and the apartment offers a beautiful perch to appreciate the town. Lovely restaurants are right outside the door, and there is plenty to do, including relax.

We only stayed in Alessandro's house for a few days, but we had a great time! The Hosts were kind and helpful, they gave us a lot of advice and we didn't miss anything. The house is well cared for in detail, clean and nothing was really missing. In addition, the area is very quiet, there are a few shops, several restaurants and a few beaches. We loved it. If we return to Ischia, we will definitely stay here again ☺️💗

What a beautiful, peaceful place. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the sea and shops but feels much further away. The view is divine and the large garden a great place to enjoy it from. We felt very comfortable there and were sorry when it was time to leave.
