Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse

Clothildes place is absolutely beautiful. very spacious, high ceilings, both bedrooms are huge. all decorated it a very tastefully way. we stayed there with our 2 kids, it fits 6 people with a bed in the attic. The village is tiny, there is 1 restaurant 5 min walk from the house which was very good. some of most beautiful towns are 3-20km drive away. the pool is small but was sufficient for kids and us to cool down in. The guide which Clothilde prepared was one of the best I have seen, we took it with us everywhere we went. book your restaurants in advance as those towns are small and most of the places run 1 service for lunch and dinner. Clothilde was an amazing host, handy where needed otherwise we were left to us. highly recommend this place!

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse on a quiet street near the village of Gordes. La Bastide des As is absolutely beautiful, blending rustic charm with chic decor and modern amenities. The house is spacious and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the lovely pool and outdoor dining areas- perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the surrounding villages. Sophie was truly amazing. She was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and going out of her way to make our stay special. She sent us advance recommendations on activities, dining, vineyards and shopping. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. It’s a lovely place for anyone looking to unwind in the heart of Provence—a perfect combination of tranquility and modern comforts. We can’t wait to return!

We thank Fabrice for his welcome, kindness and flexibility. We had a great time with the family in this farmhouse, the setting is nice and peaceful. The accommodation is spacious, clean and functional. The bedding is comfortable. We enjoyed our meals outside by the pool. Everything was perfect! Enchanting stay with a lovely host. More beautiful than the pictures. I brought my baby and Sylvie was so kind to prepare a crib, baby bath, baby chair, and many extra helpful baby items. We couldn’t have been more pleased!

Wonderful stay at Frederic's in Saumane. The house is very clean, perfectly maintained, functional and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal near golf and Isles sur la Sorgue, perfect for discovering the north of the Luberon. Thanks to Frédéric who was very responsive when we needed it. Only small downside for a stay with children, the pool (superb by the way) is not fenced and is secured by an alarm that sounds at the slightest gust of wind. Without hesitation it's a 5/5 for this house:)

Perfect stay in provence , we loved the location and the quaint village setting. The stone homes and cobble stone streets made us feel like we were in a movie. The wooden door that unlocked at the entry was a unique experience. . It was not hard to find but unlocking the door the first time had a learning curve. I had a small SUV and had no trouble getting in and out of the courtyard. The pool was lovely to look at and we sipped our feet in. It was a bit too cool to get in on our visit. The home was comfortable and clean. It had comfy beds and was nicely decorated. It got a bit warm inside but they provided fans that kept it cooler. We all slept comfortably. The town has a bakery we walked to most mornings. We appreciated the recommendation for places to eat and visit. There are some fantastic restaurants and wineries near by. Gordes Tuesday market was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay !

THEIR PLACE IS ALSO BEAUTIFUL, NESTLED NEXT TO THE QUIET TOWN OF LAGNES, AND CLOSE TO ALL THEV APPEALING WEEKLY MARKETS IN PROVENCE. WE ALSO FOUND LOVELY WALKING TRAILS NEAR THE HOUSE, AND ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO STROLLING THROUGH THE HOSTS' GARDEN, AND RELAXING ALONGSIDE THE SWIMMING POOL. I HAVE BEEN TO NUMEROUS AIRBNB LODGINGS, BUT THIS STAY WILL ALWAYS BE A FAVORITE MEMORY, A MONTH OF PURE WARM HOSPITALITY IN A HOUSE THAT COMBINED CHARM WITH EXCEPTIONAL COMFORT

Pictures of the terrace can’t possibly reflect how fabulous it is. Same for the primary bathroom views. And it’s all very private. Parking is easier than we expected—5 min walk to public parking—buy a monthly pass for 20 Euros, and you’re all set (thanks to Rogier for giving us that tip!). Gordes provides easy access to all of the villages of Provence. Definitely a 5-star stay and a 5-star experience.

The internet presentation and description of the apartment corresponds to reality. Everything was clean and well maintained. The location is perfect, close to the centre but away from the hustle and bustle, in a small enclosed residential complex, very quiet. Two parking spaces are available. Virginie's restaurant recommendations are very helpful. The check-in/out with key box was hassle-free.

We had a great stay at Ju et Mag’s accommodation! It is very comfortable and in a great location. Communication was excellent with quick replies to all my messages. I would definitely stay again!

The accommodation was as described, very well located in a charming little village. The exterior, shared with the owners, is very pleasant with the beautiful pool and barbecue (remember to bring charcoal) and the trampoline for the children. (The only small negative point, if there is one, would be the mattress of the bed) We had a great stay and recommend Fabien and Aurélie's central accommodation for visiting the Luberon.

Fabienne’s apartment was delightful with beautiful furniture and a great kitchen and amenities. Everything was of a very high quality, terrific shower and lovely area to relax. The building was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.

We spent three fantastic nights in Laurent’s fantastic L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue apartment. This is just the type of apartment that we look for on Airbnb: Unique, beautiful, charming, romantic, quiet, and great location in the historic center. When you step inside, you Immediately know you’re somewhere special with many one-of-a-kind design choices. Laurent is an incredible host, with great communication and flexible. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I know that when we return to Provence, we will definitely return to Laurent’s place. If it’s available, book it.

The accommodation is very centrally located and from there everything is within walking distance. The apartment was very nicely furnished with everything you need at your disposal. Solange warmly welcomed us and gave us helpful tips regarding parking and other things. All in all: highly recommended!

Nathalie’s place is a gem in Provence. Walking distance to Avignon old town and within reach of all things needed from restaurants to places of interest. We had an infant and the apartment suited him in terms of crawl space and crib area. The parking in the building was super convenient to have a car and explore Provence. Nathalie was super flexible with a late night check-in and even helped me retrieve socks after I had checked out. Overall definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Provence/Marseille area.

We had a great stay at Isabel's! She is very welcoming and concerned about the well-being of her tenants. The apartment is impeccably clean, quiet and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. A real plus: the possibility of parking your car in front of the house, closed gate and easily reach the centre of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue on foot. We highly recommend this listing!

Elsa welcomed us and gave us information about the apartment as well as the excursions to do: this made it easy to start the week of holidays. The apartment is very close to the centre on foot. There is everything you need, like at home. Private parking is a plus. It's very quiet.

A piece of paradise in the middle of the vineyards. Véronique and Pascal are charming and very discreet. We were able to talk with them about their passion and their Arts. They are fascinating. Our accommodation was perfect, just like the description. The ceilings are low upstairs but as indicated in the description no surprise. Perfect bedding and a very nice soothing decoration. I highly recommend it. We'll be back, I think.

El’s place was so lovely—full of character and comfort. Walkable from the train and incredible restaurants and cafes. El was so kind and flexible. Would love to stay again!
