THE BORGO In the highest point of a hill set in the mosaic of vineyards that characterizes the Chianti Classico area, in the heart of an ancient medieval village, Borgo Argenina was born. The farmhouse, composed of romantic rooms, has as its main objective to allow our guests to enjoy the calm, beauty and pleasures that our region can offer. For this reason our rooms have been restored respecting the traditions: you will find ancient terracotta floors, large walls with warm colors that we discovered during the renovation and our traditional kitchen where you can fully enjoy the Tuscan atmosphere. Our nice loggiato overlooking the vineyards will be the ideal place to enjoy a glass of Chianti Classico in the shade of the pergola of wisteria. THE POSITION Borgo Argenina can be a great starting point to admire the enchanting Gothic majesty of Siena, the historical rival Florence, the Romanesque splendor of the ancient maritime republic of Pisa and a succession of cities of art. If you then move away from the major urban centers, there is another equally fascinating Tuscany, with centuries-old villages perched on top of green hills and churches located in the most remote places. JACUZZI AND SPA The cool summer evenings and the sparkling spring nights, the rainy autumn afternoons and the cold winter days; These are the moments that make it special to immerse yourself in the new heated mini pool of Argenina. Casacenti B&B Siena historic center, Double room.

The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the building in via Vallepiatta 6, in the heart of the Contrada della Selva. It is easily reached by a convenient escalator Fontebranda, near the parking lot of St. Catherine. The output of the escalator is about 30m from the main entrance of casacenti. We provide the Pink or Green room (double bed or twin beds). TV, bathroom, fan, mini-fridge, panoramic view. Check-in 10:00-20:00 hours It may be possible that until 14 o’clock the room is not ready. You can, however, download the luggage and use the service bathroom. Alert in case of check in after 20:00 Unfortunately we do not have a parking lot for guests. Our small B & B is located in the historical center, in a restricted traffic area. You can come with your car entering from Porta S. Marco only to load and unload luggage. Then you have to park outside the ZTL. The parking fee is the closest parking in S. Caterina, Via EsternaFontebranda, but it is very expensive (1h € 2.00. Rate hotel 1Day € 25.00). In the small square in front of the exit of Santa Caterina, you can find free parking spaces bounded by white lines. This area is connected to the way of the B & B with an escalator. If you do not have much luggage I should go directly to the parking lot. If you arrive by train, from the station you can: -take a taxi (about 10 €); -take a bus to Piazza del Sale and Piazza Gramsci and then walk 10 minutes; -A Foot (about 25 min.)

The accommodation is located on a country farm, a 5-minute drive from the center of Volterra. After Porta Diana, take a short stretch of the Municipal road of S. Margherita until you reach a dirt road, the sign Bosco dell'Iris Nero leads you, along a 900-meter path, to the location. Here there are chestnut trees, olive trees, flowers and a pleasant view of the valley. You can meet roe deer, porcupines and wild boars. The cuckoo, the hoopoe, and the woodpecker inhabit the surrounding forest.

You will be staying in an apartment suitable for travelers from all over the world. Located in a strategic position just below the walls, it is just a few meters away from one of the major points of interest in the city (Porta all'arco) and about 400 meters from Piazza dei Priori. You will also find 3 supermarkets nearby. The apartment offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, with the sea visible on the horizon, which is approximately 50 km away from Volterra.

B&B-Residenza d'Epoca Le Aquile, Diamond Room.

It is located on the 1st floor of our B&B Le Aquile. It is an elegant double room (king size bed or two single beds) with exposed wooden beam ceilings, antique furniture and a private external bathroom with shower cubicle a few meters from the room. It has a complete bathroom set, a hairdryer, a courtesy kit, a kettle (with tea and Nescafè) and Nespresso capsules to enjoy a typical Italian coffee. The room is air-conditioned and equipped with wifi and a flat-screen TV.

The former FS roadman's house is about 60 m from a railway line and we, Marzia and Arturo, live on the ground floor. In our B&B, in the morning with good weather, a good breakfast awaits you outside with bread and homemade jams. Gazebos and equipment (tables, chairs, deck chairs and barbecues) outside are at your disposal to make your stay more enjoyable. The sea with a large free beach is about 500 m away and can also be reached on foot in 15 minutes.
