Cuckoo Barn - perfect cosy getaway

NancyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Cuckoo Barn. Roz was very welcoming and the cottage was lovely and comfortable, very clean and had all the necessities we needed. The view and location were great with a lovely walk very close by. Especially liked the log burner and the very comfy bed. We hope to return and highly recommend.

Bokes Barn

TrevorRating, 5 stars12 months ago
We stayed at Bokes barn for three nights in June 2024. It was for a reunion of friends. Six guys from school. Who were mates from eleven years old until twenty one years old when four of the crew went off to Australia and Canada. And the other two settled into married life. This was the first time we had been reunited for fifty two years. The barn was perfect. Six couples. Six en-suite rooms. It was spotlessly clean Extremely well equipped. With high end equipment and furnishings. Everything worked We all had the best time. We had fun in the games room I am happy to recommend this venue to anyone. You would be hard pressed to find somewhere better. Trevor Howell

The Railway Carriage, Woodchurch, Kent

ElenaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We absolutely loved our stay at the Railway Carriage! It was quiet, quaint and comfortable and the hosts, Alex and Phil, were super accomodating and helpful (and their dog willow was super cute and friendly too). The beautiful scenery surrounding the cabin is nothing short of gorgeous, with a winery and two pubs in short walking distance. We particularly loved sitting in front of the fire, watching the sunset over the lake. Definitely recommend!! One thing to note is that the only power outlet available was 12V, so make sure you either have a 12V phone charger or just remember to pack a portable charger!

The Bothy @ Brightling Park Estate

VinceRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Bothy is an amazing space in a fantastic location. Quiet, tranquil and definitely off-grid. Helena was a welcoming, friendly and helpful host who provided everything we needed. The Bothy is beautifully appointed and very relaxing to inhabit. There are many places to visit locally if you can tear yourself away. This place is absolutely ideal for people looking to get away from it all. It is described as "off-grid" and it is - so make sure you take fully-charged power banks. We will definitely return!

Luxury Shepherd's Hut with Hot Tub

HelenRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a lovely one night stay. Beautifully finished hut and being able to have a hot tub watching the sunset was a joy! We feel for Andrew, our host, as the building permissions stalling mean the view from the hut is less than ideal. But it did not spoil our stay

Luxurious, picture-perfect, stunning treehouse

JudithRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful Easter stay at the treehouse. It is a beautiful location in the middle of nowhere - we felt like we were nesting in the trees- with lovely woods for our children to play in (there was an epic Easter egg hunt). But it is also very close to lots of places of interest to explore. Very cosy to return to after a day out with a very clever and well stocked kitchen. Our kids loved their sleeping loft, the wood burner and the visiting cat. We will definitely come back

Cosy country hideaway - Elham Valley, Canterbury

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We wanted a quiet and peaceful break away and this was exactly what we got ! Beautiful surroundings. We loved the quietness with just birdsong to listen to . A huge plus is that the whole gardens / grounds is completely, safely fenced in so our dog could roam to his absolute delight. I've never seen him so active especially around the two duck ponds. It really kept him busy. The bed was really comfortable and the space well set out . We were lucky that the main house was not booked while we were there so we had total privacy.

Hoppers' Hideaways - The Hoppers' Halt - Kent

CraigRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Our stay was lovely. A very friendly greeting upon arrival, communication was excellent. The place is exactly as shown, very clean and tidy and has everything you would need for your stay. It was very peaceful surrounded by nothing but countryside. There was plenty to do nearby and a visit to the winery a few minutes away is a must for the afternoon. The hot tub is a great addition and was very easy to use and warm up. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend. Thank you guys.

Romantic countryside hideaway

PhilipRating, 5 starstoday
Well…. what can I say that hasn’t already been said by previous guests? It’s just beautiful!! Every little thing about it and its surroundings is spot on! I’d actually class myself as pretty fussy and honestly, I was in awe of the design of the place and I don’t think there was a thing that hadn’t been thought of , from the slipper bath in the room, or the outside shower (hot & cold) it was all there making the place feel very top end. Tracy herself was lovely and greeted us with a big smile and quickly showed us around before leaving us to enjoy this wonderful place, which we truly did! Thanks Tracy for a lovely escape and we’ll be recommending your place to all x

Delightful 1 bedroom lodge with hot tub

JustinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Fuggles is nicely tucked away from the buzz of the city, but the area is still very easy to find, the lodge and surroundings private and quiet. The cabin was well equiped with everything we needed to cook and rest and we felt a warm welcome from the start with yumy gifts left for us and nice and clear instructions on how to use the hot tub, etc. Beautiful nature all around - we saw a bunny just outside the window and had the comfiest ever bird watching from the hot tub. Perfect weekend escape, recommended.

Railwayman's Hut with Swimming Pond

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If you are looking for an escape that puts you in the heart of nature, is a bit different from the normal and makes you feel like you are on an adventure then this place should be top of your list. Caz is a brilliant host, always helpful, the arrival video explaining how to get to the property a really nice touch and checking that we were ok both on arrival and in the morning lovely. The swimming pond was beautiful, weather you wanted to swim or walk round and observe the nature and the beauty. You can walk right round, sit peacefully and watch nature, sunbathe on the hidden loungers. We will be back.

Hare Farm Shepherd's Hut

HopeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hare Farm. The hut is charming; small and perfectly formed with all necessary amenities. Hidden away behind a copse of trees, it's a private oasis. The sheep (and adorable little lambs) provided us with hours of entertainment and were delightful company. Annie was an excellent host. Whilst we didn't have the pleasure of meeting her on this occasion, she provided clear instructions for check-in and was extremely responsive to our messages. Thank you!

Cedarwood, an intimate and romantic cabin for two.

AnneliesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just glorious. Exactly what we needed to get away from the stress of daily life. Exactly as described. So cute I could happily nestle away in there for weeks (how I wish). Beautiful countryside location, quiet and remote with little bunnies jumping around in the garden. This property had everything we needed and was well thought out. There is nothing I would change or add. Had a little trouble with the hob late at night and the host replied to assist immediately. Impeccable home, impeccable location, impeccable hosts. We will most definitely return to this little slice of paradise

Self Contained Garden Studio with stunning views

DavidRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The studio is a well thought out comfortable accommodation. Although space is limited every convenience is provided. The views from the garden across the meadow, in the beautiful sunshine were very restful from the sun rising until some very spectacular sunsets at days end. Jules and Ian were most welcoming and helpful, and most importantly the bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you and if I visit Kent again I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook David Pritchard

The Apple Store

AnneRating, 5 stars6 days ago
A gorgeous little cottage nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside. We were welcomed with thoughtful touches, including fresh flowers, bread, milk, and cereals—such a lovely start to our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and tastefully furnished throughout. It's perfectly located for a visit to the Balfour Winery, just a 20-minute walk away, and also close to Marden village, where you'll find a couple of pubs, a café, and a bakery. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay!
