what an amazing find. I have never stayed anywhere as peaceful as this. The cabin is very secluded, so felt we were on our own. Beautifully done, giving a very rustic and natural feel. My two fifteen year olds loved the surroundings. Half an hour from beach, river to paddleboars and cycling.Perfect. The sunset was amazing as an added bonus. Sarah was quick to respond and helpful with advice when I asked about local places. I would highly recommend.

Just what we needed for a night away. The place was immaculate and decorated to a beautiful standard. We walked to the station (around 10 minutes) and went into Bury St Edmunds for the day a great town with plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay with Rosie again.

The accommodation was exactly as described. It was a very quiet area with easy parking. The flat was pristine and the kitchen very well equipped. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again if we return to Ipswich.

This property was exactly what I wanted for a relaxing few days. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and clean, warm, comfortable accommodation. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to eat, cook or even bake. Table is ample size for 6 people to eat and socialize over. The living room area has large, comfortable sofas which are, again, ample for 6 people staying. Tv and WiFi are provided tho we didn’t use the TV, the WiFi good enough for my husband to get his work done. The bathroom was perfect. Clean and fresh with good water pressure and a high shower head (very important when hubby is 6ft4) the clawfoot bath was glorious! If you like deep baths with a book and some vino make sure you pack your bubble bath. Towels were all spotlessly clean, fresh and soft. The bedrooms were all great size with good storage. Beds were comfortable and fresh so we all slept well here. The boot room with dog bath/shower was a bonus for us and our 2 small dogs. Wonderful ! We will be back xxx

Lovely cottage in a small village just outside Ipswich. Location was excellent for us with easy access to A12 and A14. Farm shop in walking distance. With two adults and two lanky adult sized teenagers the cottage was a bit of a squeeze tbh. We couldn't all sit in the lounge or round the table in the kitchen comfortably as there just wasn't enough room. The low doorways are a particular hazard for anyone over 5'5"! Stairs were steep and narrow which we expect from an old place but could be tricky if you have any mobility issues. Boiler playing up so no central heating but owner provided electric heaters which were sufficient, and parts have been ordered. There is a lovely wood burner in the lounge which provided warmth as well as entertainment for the men in the family as they squabbled over who was in charge of lighting and logs.

A last minute booking because I suddenly needed to be near Hadleigh, Manningtree, Ipswich on a bank holiday weekend, so I had little time to ponder the accomodation. But I'm so glad I chose here. Horses and countryside all around. Very peaceful. Inside had everything I needed and is tastefully/prettily furnished etc. Bed so comfy!Arabella added cereals, bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, honey, jam, marmite, butter, plus lots of other helpful goodies. Everything inside worked well. I was given the privacy I wanted but any response from Arabella was prompt and friendly. I loved my stay here and could quite easily have stayed for longer. I would certainly stay again.

Many thanks for arranging our overnight stay at short notice - it was perfect for our needs (stopping by Ipswich to sort out our rental flat) and so much nicer than staying in a hotel. Our dog absolutely loved the property and fell straight asleep when we arrived. He's never usually so relaxed in a strange place! The lodge is a beautiful conversion with gorgeous oak doors and rafters and lots of lovely pieces of furniture. The huge bed was the most comfortable we've slept it! Thanks again and thanks for the communications. Hope to stay again.
