Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ficuzza

We had a great stay. Francesco who welcomed us gave lots of useful recommendations and was always on hand to help. The villa was as described. We loved the outhouse next to the pool and hot tub and enjoyed playing pool and cooking there. Our only downside was that there is no where to walk to nearby although this was warned of with a car being advised as essential. The beaches are 30-40 minute car journey away. We visited scala dei turchi, licata, valley of temples and Cefalu with Cefalu being a longer day trip (1.5 hours each way) but worth it. Thank you, we will back to Sicily I am sure!

Marina’s place was amazing! But it’s what she put into it that really made it a 5-star AirBnB. A pile of oranges from her ranch, a beer in the fridge, coffee, bread for making toast with her homemade mandarin jam and much more! Not only did I find soap, shampoo, and towels in the bathroom, but a robe and slippers as well! And she was so helpful and quick to respond to my messages. The bed was so comfortable. The cottage was small, cozy, and perfect for my 4-day trip. I hope to have the opportunity to rent her place again!

Andrea's place is lovely. After being in Napoli and Palermo for a week, it was a nice change of pace to be in the country. The pictures of the cottage do not do it justice. The cottage is quite a it bigger than the pictures suggest. The bed was comfortable and cozy. Our favourite part of staying at Andrea's was drinking wine and looking at the scenery. My husband and I would definitely recommend staying at this air bnb!

The place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature with stunning views. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet escape.

Great place, certainly designed to enjoy in hotter weather so outside areas can be enjoyed and not put away with the wind as was the case with us! Unfortunately came on a stormy weekend beyond everyones control. Recommend hiring a car if staying with Maia, only 15 min walk from train station but area isn’t particularly pedestrian friendly and trains arent too often/didnt run past 9pm. But none of this the hosts fault, an oversight by myself. Thanks for having us, seeing the ocean from the bedroom was definitely a highlight!

The stay with Dario, was our last apartment in Sicily. The location is perfect to visit Palermo, Monreale and Mondello beach. The apartment is new and wonderfully large. There were two of us, but there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms so very suitable for four people. In addition to the apartment being beautiful, the most important thing to say is: the tremendous hospitality of Dario and his wife. Upon arrival, there were brioche ready for us, halfway through we got a nice wine from the region and at our farewell delicious sandwiches for breakfast….. and it's not even about what we got, it's much more about the kindness and the willingness to help, give tips and advice. Dario was WONDERFUL and felt familiar like we were friends. I can write much more beautiful and good, e.g. about how neat and clean and new it was... but I would say: experience it for yourself. Vito's place is in a GREAT part of Erice and perfectly located. All bedrooms/beds, kitchen, bathroom was PERFECT. Definitely coming back to Erice and staying in Vito's place. Thank you!

The Adil’s apartment is like on the photos. The two principal rooms are big. One with 3 beds and the other one with 2 beds. The third room don’t have windows and a double bed. The kitchen is small, but enough for preparing a quick lunch or a breakfast. It is really near Central Station, so it’s very easy to arrive by train from the airport. Adil answers you quickly when you have questions and always try to help you.

We were very warmly welcomed by Sergio and Stefania. The accommodation is pleasant, rich in history and borrowed from the spirit of Palermo. Sergio's attention to our arrival: aperitif, visit of the apartment and many and wise tips were great. Grazie per tutti! The location makes it easy to visit the central neighborhoods of Palermo. We loved our stay and would be very happy to come back. 110% recommended location.

Highly recommend staying here! We stayed for a week and it was a great base to enjoy Palermo from. The kitchen is well equipped and the balcony is great. I was working during the stay and the WiFi was very reliable. Michele was a great host and we would stay here if we were in Palermo again.

Alessandro was a great host. Always very responsive and even came late one evening when we had trouble with the lock. A very spacious flat. It was the only one on the floor so had lots of balconies, windows and light. It is within walking distance of all the sights in Palermo and lots of great restaurants. The flat was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Such a cute and quiet place to get away from the city just what we needed! Tania was so nice and we were able to hang out in the garden, pick the fig trees, have eggs from her chickens! Just incredible experience!

We’ve stayed in well over 125 Airbnb’s around the world and sometimes you find ones that stand out for you. This was one of them. From the beginning the communication was superb, Vincenzo met us in the square at the bottom of old town and took us to he and Nadia’s beautiful apartment in a quiet street in Agrigento. He helped us carry our luggage up the stairs, parking was free and right outside the door. The views were spectacular! The apartment had everything we needed for a very warm and comfortable stay. Nadia supplied us with plenty of recommendations for restaurants and bakeries as well as bus information for the short bus ride to the Valley of the Temples. Couldn’t recommend it more!

We had a great stay at Mauro's place. We loved the location! There are so many lovely restaurants, bars, and little boutiques nearby, and it felt really lively and fun. Enrico was very helpful and had lots of great suggestions for where to go and what to see. It was nice to be greeted by an actual person and to get his take on how to spend our time in Palermo. We loved it!!

Ferdinando's place is a niceapartment in the historic center of Palermo. The house has all the necessary services, communication with the co-host Giorgio was super, as was the kindness throughout the stay. We especially appreciated the recommendations. Recommended!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable week and although we had a couple of problems they were addressed quickly. The location is beautiful, peaceful and private. The space was a perfect size for our family of four and we could have managed another two people easily. The pool was a bit cold in October but that was somewhat to be expected - the sea is warmer though. The house is finished to a very high standard. Whilst the drive to the property isn't for the feint hearted, it's worth it when you get there. There is a good but small supermarket about 3km away on the main road. Local highlights include Scopello which has a number of nice restaurants and a small private beach (where Oceans 12 was filmed). We enjoyed hiking in the nature reserve which is ~5km away and had nice secluded beaches to swim off (head further than the first beach). Further afield the salt pans in Trapani are good and we enjoyed a food tour of Balastrate and an olive oil/wine tour of the Augustali farm (through AirBnB)

Olesia’s property was STUNNING - the photos don’t do it justice!! So spacious and well equipped, just a wonderful experience. It’s a 45 min walk in to Cefalu and pretty steep back but we had a hire car so no issues, just something to bear in mind. We had my 1 year old son with us and it’s not the most child friendly property (located on a steep hill, which is great for views but not for toddlers!!) but we absolutely loved our stay and I would definitely recommend.

Stunning Airbnb with spectacular views overlooking Scopello. The house is even nicer than the pictures. Beautiful pool, lovely sun porch on second floor, and hot tub was great for the cool early April nights. Sara, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful with recommendations. The house was in a very quiet, peaceful hamlet outside Scopello. It is tucked away down a gravel road, so it was very helpful to have Sara meet us near town and drive the last stretch to the house. We hope to return!

The place (especially the garden) is very beautiful and Osvaldo is a very gracious host, responsive also when he is busy. Unfortunately we left the window open during a rain shower, Osvaldo responded gracefully, very pleasant. Thanks for making our stay a great one Osvaldo!!

We lived in this beautiful villa for a month working remote. We loved everything in this house; the environment in the countryside but still close to nearby villages and beach, privacy, views and the house itself with everything you could hope for, and the garden. The house was very clean and tidy and it really felt like home. Communication was always perfect. We recommend 100%!

The house is spacious and well stocked with everything we needed. It felt more like staying in a much-loved family holiday home than a rental. The views from the villa were absolutely stunning. We felt right at home and enjoyed making dinner and sitting outside on the patio. Pietro was so welcoming and even drove us to the grocery store so we could stock up on essentials. Would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Palermo to stay here. Private, comfortable, and beautiful. If you are able to rent a car, that is recommended. Note, an international driving permit (IDP) is required and needs to be obtained prior to renting a car.
