Cabin holiday rentals in Fenton Lake State Park

We booked for a lsat minute family trip to see snow and this was the perfect cabin for us to unplug and recharge. It is nicer than the photos and we made a 45 minute drive to Pajarito Ski Mountain and had a great time skiing. The kitchen was well stocked and the cabin had everything we needed for a family trip. Would visit again!

The cabin was clean and comfortable and just perfect for our weekend getaway. The owners were super-responsive and had great recommendations for hikes and restaurants. We loved that there were beautiful hikes just minutes away, and we also enjoyed Jemez Hot Springs, Bandelier National Monument, and the scenic drives to both places. Definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Great modern cabin. Tranquil place to hang out. Go for a hike up the road or just lounge on the deck(s) and chill to the sounds of the forest and trickling creek. 20 minutes to town and all it has to offer.

We had a lovely stay. The cabin is beautiful and the dogs enjoyed exploring the grounds and sunbathing on the deck. We found the setting peaceful and private. The host team was great and kept in touch in advance of our arrival to notify us of winter weather. It was a great to get away from the city.

An absolutely perfect place for our stay! We wanted a place where we could enjoy the beauty of Santa Fe and Misty's place was even more perfect than we could have imagined. The cabin is cute, cozy, and perfectly sized and the outdoor space is spectacular. We loved the cabin--it was small, but it had everything we needed. When there was a massive, loud thunderstorm we barely heard it at all. The outdoor spaces are just phenomenal. Several different seating spaces all with incredible views. We were so happy to have a place where we could hang out, enjoy each other's company, and be amazed at the vistas all around. Loved this place.

Loved our stay! Snow came in and changed our active itinerary of hiking and hot springs to a peaceful, relaxing and awe inspiring beautiful stay! Kaycee was so helpful when we had to change dates after initially booking and waiting until April Easter Weekend was perfect for the four of us! Loved it. Would go again!

The cabin is exactly as described - basic but comfortable - in a beautiful, serene setting up the hill from the river. We had a wonderful weekend and will be back as soon as possible. April made all the small details easy and she was super accommodating.

Great hidden gem in Jemez. The house was very private in a quite neighborhood. Loved the amenities and was perfect for my big family. Quick drive to ski Pajarito and quick drive back to enjoy local restaurants in Jemez. Douglas was great and made exceptions and recommendations to our unique situation. I would definitely book again.

We love staying here. This is the third time we have stayed here. We have been going to celebrate our anniversary. This year was our 16th. It was so peaceful and beautiful.

It was very easy going and peaceful. The place was great and very comfortable on top of being gorgeous. We didn't lack anything while there and was able to experience what we wanted to in Jemez. The host are very kind and friendly and their two farrets were so adorable. A nice time all around.

It was a wonderful stay with gorgeous views and quite privacy away from the city. Quick internet let us stream movie after movie. Owner was available and made sure to help us out when the grill ran out of propane. While this didn't bother us and isn't a complaint, it might been difficult if we had our autistic children, the water has a sulfur smell when showering and cleaning dishes, but also has filtered water for brushing teeth and cooking. I only say this if you or traveling members are sensitive to smell. The furniture including beds were comfortable and clean. Wood burning fireplace heated the home very well, the weber gas grill was nice to cook on and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We had no problems with cows in the driveway. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with us and we plan on coming back in the future.

We loved this special place. Artistically designed. Clean and quiet. Huge bathroom area. Beautiful views. We appreciated the warm welcome and fresh sourdough bread.

I had a fantastic time staying with Dave. There is a beautiful mix of landscapes to see & the cabin I stayed in was great!

Ben and Lauren were very gracious hosts, always responsive to our communications (via the airbnb website). The setting was very peaceful, and the flat, though cozy, was bigger than typical hotel rooms and offered numerous additional amenities such as a small kitchen and farm-fresh gifts of cherry tomatoes, eggs, granola, and assorted goat cheeses. This was an enjoyable getaway from downtown Albuquerque. One could not ask for better hosts, and their other airbnb reviews are fully justified.

Wonderful A-frame cabin that had the perfect vibe. Fun decor, cozy space, nice art on the walls. Couldn’t have chosen a better spot for our staycation.

We loved our stay at the casita. Aesthetically one of the most beautiful I’ve encountered. Beautiful artwork throughout and creative design. Lots of light and gorgeous natural views out of every window. A fun bonus for me was perusing the bookshelves and noticing how much we had in common! We had an unexpected “visitor” for several hours one morning: a baby bear who definitely looked lost and frail. We called Mary Ann and she alerted the state wildlife folks. Unfortunately by the time they came out baby had moved on, but Mary Ann had alerted the neighbors so everyone could keep an eye out. We felt very at home during our four-night stay, took many beautiful photos, and would return in a heartbeat.

The cabin is beautiful and cozy, with comfortable beds and a wonderfully warm atmosphere. The views from the terraces are spectacular—you can enjoy starry nights in complete silence. The cabin has everything you need and has beautiful furniture. The outdoor table is perfect for an afternoon snack after a day of trekking. On a personal note, the animal hides and mounted heads on the walls made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but that’s just a personal preference. Also, a small restroom upstairs would be more convenient, especially for families with children. We also felt that having WiFi would be useful for checking the weather forecast and planning activities. Other than that, it’s a gorgeous place, and I highly recommend it!
