This one bedroom annex is part of a 200 year old barn conversion. Based in the Nidderdale area of outstanding natural beauty, the accommodation has its own private access and garden with seating area, internally the annex can accommodate 2 people and one friendly dog,unfortunately we can't accept Labradors due to the shedding of there coats, (please ensure you register your dog when booking). Ideal for families and couples wanting to enjoy the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage dates back to 1799 and was the millers cottage to the adjoining property, an old corn Mill. An idyllic location with easy access to many local footpaths and trails. No pets.

The lodge is open plan with full kitchen, relaxing room with dining area and double bedroom, lots of clothing storage and bathroom with shower. We are situated on a network of footpaths through the Yorkshire Dales so a perfect walking retreat ending your days in the natural water, wood fired hot tub. The hot tub is lit and heated by the guests themselves.

Separate to our main home, and having wonderful views, guests can visit nearby Fountains abbey, Brimham rocks, Grassington and lots of other lovely places of interest, as well as nearby walks. We have used high quality fittings throughout from Loaf seating, beautiful light fittings, Sophie Conran crockery, SMEG kettle and toaster, as well as featuring art by a local artist David Stead.

Waterwheel cottage is an old workshop converted to the highest standards, yet retaining some original and interesting features. On a Summer's evening open the patio doors to enjoy the beautiful sunshine overlooking the pond and in winter light up the stove to create that warm glow. The cottage is situated on a working farm in the area of outstanding natural beauty. You can collect your keys from the key safe and Kim, Janet and Emma are close by should you need anything.

Bordered by the Yorkshire Dales National Park and close to the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey, Nidderdale is that unique blend of ingredients, mixed in the right proportions and painted in the right colours – whatever the season – that has had a timeless appeal to artists, photographers and film makers.

The End Place - A romantic hideaway for two

The End Place is a self-contained cottage adjoining Moorhouse Cottage. Downstairs is open plan, comprising a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with wood burning stove. A glass wall ensures uninterrupted views across Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as starry-night skyscapes. Upstairs opens out into a magical, fairy-lit, vaulted bedroom with a king size brass bed adorned with crisp linen and includes en suite with shower.
