If you are hiking in the area, Sally’s place is the spot to stay! Located in between two major hiking areas, Sally’s place is a welcome respite. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as well as the ability to make our own meals and relax at “home” after a day of exploring. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Sally and other local families are in the process of renovating several modular homes and Hunter Creek Cottage was an excellent example of their vision! Sally too is super friendly and lives very near by - we really enjoyed meeting her as well.

The location and place was perfect for our family of four to see the Nothern and Southern Redwood parks, and Maya provided very helpful suggestions for trails, permits, etc. I highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this airb&b. The location could not have been better. We were able to be very close to redwoods and beaches. The house was very nice and had everything we could ask for. We especially loved the homemade freezer jams and fresh eggs! We would highly recommend this home and hope to visit from Georgia again!

We stayed in the back house, Great place for staying close to the Redwoods. It is 20-45min from the popular trail heads it depends on which way you are going. Access was easy, instructions are super clear and Kenton is communicative. It was me and my parents. So the bed in the living room was handy. It can sleep 4. Kitchen has basics, all you need for making breakfast and basic dinner. If you plan to cook bring all ingredients with you. Feels like a private cabin with nice views of the ocean.
