Cottage for rent We have decided to rent out our beautiful cottage located on Grasten on the island of Thurø, which has a permanent connection to Svendborg. 200 meters from the cottage is the tourist ferry Helge, and with it you can sail all the way to Svendborg city. The house is 74 m2 and consists of a kitchen-dining-living room, 1 bathroom, entrance, bedroom, children's room and a rest area with a sofa bed. Large south-facing wooden terrace with garden table/chairs and barbecue. The house is located right next to Svendborgsund. In fact, there are only 10 meters down to your own beach and your own jetty, from which you can take a nice dip, catch crabs, collect stones and play, build sand castles, only the imagination sets limits. After various beach activities, you can enjoy a shower under the house's outdoor shower, which has both cold and hot water. The view is absolutely phenomenal with a view of Langeland, Tåsinge (Valdemarslot). At sea, there is always life of sailing ships and boats, as our house is located right at the entrance to Svendborg. In addition, many birds, porpoises and seals are seen. Everywhere is green and peaceful, no noise from cars, only birdsong to break the silence. There are large forests a walk away. If you are interested in fishing, you can catch flatfish, trout, etc. from the jetty. We have two kayaks and two children's kayaks that can be borrowed. Life jackets for children and adults are also available. We also have a beautiful Finnish sauna in wood, built by real Finns who even brought wood and a stove from Finland. Enjoy a dip in the sea and then experience the warmth of the lovely sauna. There is room for 1 family of max. 4 people. You must bring your own linen, towels, dishcloths, tea towels, etc. We have no TV, but lots of board games 😉 Wifi is available. Facilities: Dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, electric kettle, fridge + freezer, Nespresso machine, toaster. The house is heated with electric heat, in addition to a wood pellet stove. The price is exclusive of electricity consumption. Electricity meter is checked on arrival and departure and paid via mobile pay to no. 60619449 or in cash. Everything must be cleaned up/emptied and then cleaned by a cleaning company.

The house has 4 lovely bedrooms, a small bathroom with toilet and sink, a larger bathroom with sauna and shower. Around the house there are several terraces, so the sun can be enjoyed all day, as well as a large garden with plenty of opportunity to relax. The cottage is located so there is the possibility of privacy and close by is a nice beach with a good sandy bottom. The price is excl. electricity consumption.

Her er restauranter med lækker mad, Brugsen og bageren ligger i gå-afstand og her er mange seværdigheder i nærheden. I sommermånederne er der hver weekend musik på havnen + loppemarked hver tirsdag. The house can accommodate up to 6 people. With private access to the hiking trail that leads around the Vitsø and to the sea, you can fully enjoy the untouched nature. The house is well equipped and offers modern comfort while preserving the rustic, Danish atmosphere.
