Our Waldbach location is situated on the edge of an idyllic farm in the Westerwald region, with a wide view over meadows and forests as far as the eye can see. In the background, the gentle sound of a small stream accompanies you – your soundtrack to slowing down. Hiking trails through forest and field start directly from the cabin. The surrounding area can also be explored wonderfully by bike. In the evening you sit on the terrace or by the fire – with a wide view of nature and the feeling of being completely at one with yourself.

The old house is situated in a small village on the edge of the Bergisches Land, a stone's throw away from the Westerwald. The house has been renovated over the past few years; only the façade is still missing. There are six rooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, a living room in the attic, and a large property (approx. 2,000 m²). The cottage is quietly located on the outskirts of a 300-person village, there is no thoroughfare, the main noises are the occasional bleating of the neighbour's sheep.

Our half-timbered house, completely renovated in 2020, is part of a larger half-timbered ensemble. It combines historic flair with a modern ambiance. The overall high-quality facilities leave nothing to be desired. Our village of Geilhausen is scenically nestled on the upper Sieg and has its own train connection. The banks of the Sieg, the forests and heights of the Westerwald and the Bergisches Land invite you to hike and cycle via the Sieg and Westerwald nature trails.

If you want to hike, cycle or slow down, you are in the right place in Windecker Ländchen. The circus trailer is located on a separate property behind our house on our sheep pasture. Private access & parking available. Every 30 minutes S-Bahn connection to Cologne (1 hour to the Koelnmesse).

Come in & feel good! Everyone who comes into the wooden house finds themselves in the ambience of a cozy mountain hut. It simply invites you to feel good and sleep here heavenly. Especially in the winter months, it is pleasantly warm and cozy with the tiled stove. In summer it is pleasantly cool and after a long day of hiking you can enjoy the evening here. Bonn can be reached in 40 minutes by car, Cologne in 50 minutes, Koblenz in 50 minutes. If you want to be comfortable, take the S-Bahn or RE to visit the Rhineland metropolises. The Au/Sieg train station can be reached in 10 minutes.
