Holiday houses in Espel

The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. We enjoyed it very much. It's a beautiful, decent mobile home. Nice with the air conditioning. Plenty of space all around in the garden and the shed. Friendly neighbors, child-friendly campsite with playground and swimming pool.

Lovely, spacious house in one of the most beautiful places in Friesland, located directly on open water with beautiful views over a lake (It Piel, borders Heegermeer and the Fluessen) and the countryside. Recommended for those who love peace, space and the Frisian lakes.

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything provided that we could need to cater for ourselves. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower was hot with good pressure. Nice private garden with fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. Neighbourhood was really quiet and peaceful, extremely green (it feels like you are in the woods) but close to plenty of amenities. Has a very family friendly vibe. Short walk to the shops/supermarket etc. and even closer to the woods/lakes etc. Lots of good outdoor routes to explore. Adva was great with some walking recommendations. 20-30 mins drive to Utrecht and Amsterdam so easy to dip in for a restaurant etc. although there are some good local restaurants which Adva can also fill you in on. Adva in general was a brilliant host, responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Kid loved it, dog loved it, adults loved it, would highly recommend!

Stayed here with friends for a week. House was perfect, with plenty of space and a lovely garden with hot tub. Was a great location for exploring the Netherlands. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay in the loveliest area in a perfect location. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and gave us many great tips that made our trip even better. The house was cozy and nice to be in. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend the place!

Our stay at this beautiful, idyllic farmhouse was just perfect. Upon arrival, we immediately felt at home. The breakfast was a dream, lovingly prepared and incredibly delicious with love for details. Johan and Imi were very friendly, attentive and always there for us. It was a real pleasure to be here, we would have preferred to stay longer. Thank you for this wonderful time!
