Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Escondido

Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was perfect for our big family — very spacious, comfortable, and incredibly pet-friendly! The location was great too — conveniently close to both San Diego and Oceanside. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again!

Roberto’s place had a nice yard for my kids to play, lots of great outdoor seating places with nice outside lighting to keeping enjoying the space after the sun goes down. The house had all the essentials to stay and enjoy north county sights and amenities. Roberto was kind and included an extra bed for my two kids to each have their own. If there was an issue or we had a question, Roberto helped us out quickly and easily. The house was in a beautiful spot right next to a nursery and other houses with large yards like this one. Even though other houses were around, you felt like you were in your own oasis.

This place literally felt like paradise. If you didn’t know you were in San Diego, you would feel like you’re in Hawaii! The backyard was so beautiful that we spent the majority of our time out there in the pool, hot tub, and tiki bar! The upstairs patio was fantastic for outdoor eating. The hosts were super communicative with any questions we had prior to and during our visit! We definitely can’t wait to stay again in the future!

This was my second time staying at Sarah’s place in Vista, and it was just as great as the first! The home is peaceful, super clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You can tell Sarah puts a lot of care into making sure her guests feel welcome—from the thoughtful touches around the house to how easy she is to communicate with. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway while still being close to everything in town. I’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

Our party of 10 (including 3 kids ages 2/6/8 & 2 elderly people) stayed here for an extended family vacation and it was the perfect fit for us. The property was lovely & it felt like being at a villa. The room situation worked out great for us as my family of 4 stayed in the main house (kids on the sofa bed), my in-laws & BIL's family of 3 in the 2 primary bedrooms, & my single BIL in the private room next to the pool stairs. The kitchen was well-stocked for our needs & we did enjoy one afternoon in the pool since the weather was pretty cool. One of the reasons I booked this home was for the petting zoo that all ages ended up enjoying. We set up a time with the host & she graciously spent a good chunk of time letting us into the various fenced areas and sharing about her sweet animals. We got to visit with a llama, 2 pigs, several goats, a mini-horse, & a rad tortoise that my daughter and niece got to take a little ride on. Experience of a lifetime. Thank you for having us!

I had a wonderful stay at Afsaneh’s place! Everything was great — the space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient, and Afsaneh was a kind and responsive host. This place is a quiet getaway that is both peaceful and serene. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a long day out. I have no complaints whatsoever. Star was a great host, and her place deserves a 10 out of 10. I booked in Spring, so as you walk up to the home a bouquet of floral sents of climbing Jasmine, plumerias and gardenias greets you in this beautiful oasis.

My wife and I had a very relaxing time at this luxurious and breathtaking location. It was a beautiful home with a magnificent birds eye view of the enitre valley. The hosts were very kind, responsive, and helpful with any questions. All in all, a memorable experience the we joke about because it must have been some kind of dream. We had a great stay at Laura’s place! It was an awesome location! We loved the vibe and the at home feel. Everything we needed was provided. Beds were super comfortable, and the entire place was very clean. Having a parking space was also very convenient! Laura was really attentive to any questions, and I can tell that the comfort level of her guests matters to her. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was great, close to many restaurants and shops, great ocean breeze, great ocean view from the room, beautiful grounds, and 5 minutes from my sons house on Camp Pendleton!

We really enjoyed getting out of the city this weekend. Susan’s place is tucked away and peaceful, and it was beautiful! We loved lounging by the pool and hearing all the birds, seeing her horses, and hearing the frogs and crickets at night. Definitely a good place to unwind if you are looking for a place to relax. Susan was really quick to respond to issues and was very proactive. Good place for a couple - just a note that there isn’t a complete closure to the bathroom, but that didn’t bother us at all.

This place was great, my family and I had an amazing trip and my kids thought it was magical to be able to walk to the beach. The neighborhood was peaceful and close to a lot of amenities. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. We loved our stay and will definitely be going back. 10 out of 10 will be recommending.

We had an exceptional experience! We felt right at home and had everything we needed. The garden was beautiful and we had such a peaceful stay. We were in town for a wedding at the Grand Tradition. It is literally 3 minutes away. Perfect location if you're in town for a wedding!

I wish I had more than 1000 characters because this place was incredible! The history in Barrio-Logan was unmatched compared to staying in the Gaslamp area. Hector left great recommendations, had a clean and spacious area, and was so responsive and flexible with check in! Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb or host more.

Liam and Mia were lovely! They were very communicative and responsive to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. There were also plenty of extra towels and comforters, which was a big plus for our group of 10. Definitely recommend!

We were attending a wedding in the area and Elizabeth’s place was perfectly situated close to our venue. The pictures do not do it justice at all. We arrived to find the place spotless and comforting. Everything inside and out was beautiful. There were 360-degree views of the surrounding country-side and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy it from. Loved the small touches and labeled cabinets! Our party of ten stayed there very comfortably. Elizabeth was a lovely host and responded to quickly to all our questions. She also provided recommendations for places to visit and suggested wineries in the area. So glad we stayed here, overall a fantastic experience. Thank you for all the memories!

This was a beautiful place overlooking the airport and water! It was really cool to watch airplanes take off and land from the living room. The host was super nice and very responsive. I’d definitely come back here :)

Great stay for family wedding at nearby winery. Home was as described with all amenities needed. Owner was responsive leading up to our stay. While the house itself was great, I do think the owner should unlock the A/C controls or mention in the listing that it is locked down. When you pay that much for a house, you should be able to control the temperature. There are also a lot of ‘house rules; do not touch/use the piano, hot tub, avocados, and many reminders about the front pond. Felt a little like a constant lecture.

This villa was perfect for our wedding weekend at Mt Woodson Castle. It was only 4 minutes away! All amenities we could possibly need was provided. The view from the back of the villa was breathtaking. There were 2 jacuzzis that we wished we had time to use. Would definitely want to return again someday to just relax and enjoy the villa. The hosts were super friendly and responsive. Villa was easy to find thanks to very detailed instructions from the hosts.
