Beachfront holiday rental in Escondido

The location is incredible — you truly can’t beat the proximity to the beach, dog beach, and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops all within walking distance. The unit itself was the perfect space for a quick weekend getaway and had all the amenities we needed. We didn’t use the community space or hot tub, but they looked clean and well-maintained. One heads-up: if you're parking a mid-size or larger vehicle in the garage, be prepared for a very tight fit. The garage is located around the corner in an alley, and some cars turn in blindly, which could be a bit risky — so just use extra caution. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we’d definitely book again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! It was such a cute little beach house. Small home but the layout and lack of clutter made it feel bigger and functional. It was the perfect location for easily walking to the beach or dining near the pier. We would definitely stay again!

A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. We initially planned to stay in Leucadia for a week but decided to extend our stay for a full second week because we loved this place so much. The location is absolutely perfect. We walked to the Beacons beach to surf every day and had our pick of all the best restaurants on the 101 (highly recommend Birdseye Kitchen). The house itself is cozy and surprisingly private for a place on the 101. It helped to have laundry on site and Chris was responsive throughout our visit. The house isn't as well stocked as a lot of air bnbs (no wine glasses, coffee, ice cube trays, etc.) but you will probably want to eat out most of your stay anyway because there are so many great places within walking distance. We definitely plan to come back and highly recommend this charming little nook in Leucadia! Excellent cost for value.

We rented this house to spend time with our grown children and grandkids. It was amazing! Better than any words can describe. We had plenty of room and the kids (3 under 3) loved the grass! Beds were super comfy and loved going to sleep every night to the sound of the waves crashing. This house had everything we needed and more. We just brought our clothes and food. We all decided this needs to be a new tradition for our family and will return soon. 10 out 10

Our family had a wonderful vacation to start the summer off! This location is remarkable - walkable to the beach, restaurants, etc. The home itself is wonderful as well - everything you want is there! This was our first time in Carlsbad and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful beachfront condo! We were walking distance to the beach and playgrounds, any and every dinning experience you could need was around the corner. Cool coffee shops, we even found a local art walk at the Oceanside civic center and enjoyed a stroll down to eat the best pizza I’ve ever had! Book this stay, you won’t be disappointed. Secure access, beautiful views and very roomy place to stay. The bedrooms are spread out enough with bathrooms attached that we never felt cramped or crowded

Great stay. Plenty of room for a family of four. Very clean with everything you could need. We spend a lot of time enjoying the roof top view. Loved the convenience of the beach toys locker. Enjoyed walks to Harbor Village for fish and chips and breakfast at the Stratford. Sea lions were a fun bonus. Would definitely stay again. Top notch hosts!

The location was great, close to many restaurants and shops, great ocean breeze, great ocean view from the room, beautiful grounds, and 5 minutes from my sons house on Camp Pendleton!

Joseph is a great host and the place truly is a tropical paradise with easy access to the beach & downtown Oceanside in walking distance (.5 mi). The property does feel like a hotel but having an “adults only” hot tub is nice to get away from children if you’re wanting that. My friends and I walked to local restaurants and coffee shops each day. The place is very clean and he’s got pretty much everything you could need include extra fans and sound machines if you need some white noise to sleep, which I do so I was pleasantly surprised! Will stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

the location of this property is magnificent, Just being able to hear the waves at night was soothing . Worth every dollar I say ! , Walking distance to the harbor and pier, assigned parking,The beach is very close , My family enjoyed Oceanside and the property, clean and spacious. Restaurants and shops throughout our walks on the beach , would highly recommend.

Imran was very communitive and always responded very promptly. His home was beautifully remodeled and there was plenty of room for my family if 4. It was just steps away from the beach and 10 minutes walking distance to the harbor and restaurants. We will definitely be back to enjoy this beautiful vacation spot!

We love the location and amenities at Paul’s place. Very quiet unit and lovely balcony overlooking the beautiful surroundings. A new hot tub opened by the pool during our stay which was wonderful!

Renata’s home was immaculate and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation.

Dalma’s place was wonderful for our family. It was private and had a fenced in shared backyard space, which was great for our little kids. She had wonderful extras such as the beach items, coffee options for the morning, kids toys and books, and plenty of blankets if needed when it cooled off at night. Beach and restaurants were close within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

10 and her partner were great at hosting us while we stayed in Carlsbad we enjoyed the view the walk to the beach the game room they went above and beyond by getting my child some snacks and a pizza so it would be there when we arrived this was amazing which was amazing when traveling with kids will be back to stay

Amazing place. Hard to beat with location and beautiful layout of the house. They’ve thought of everything to make it fun to hang out in the home outdoor and indoor. Location close to beaches. Really loved it. Great people, communication, and amenities.

this place was amazing from the moment we stepped into it. Great views of the ocean and dolphins coming thru most mornings was the best while drinking coffee. Definitely be back for future visit

Dan & Britt are very gracious hosts! They were proactive in reaching out to us to make sure we were comfortable and were attentive to our needs throughout our stay. Their Airbnb was better than the photos and my family and I absolutely loved the views it offered as well as the neighborhood of Oceanside. The house itself was very spacious and clean. We had a chance to truly decompress for a couple of days! I would highly recommend a stay here and we plan on going back.

From the cool breezes to the sounds of the ocean, from the ocean views to the relaxing atmosphere on the balcony and in the condo, this was a perfect place to be. The decor was wonderful, the home was well stocked and was so clean. The grounds of the property were lovely, such beautiful flowers and foliage everywhere. Dan and Ari were wonderful. They responded quickly to any question we had, and they went far above and beyond to make this a wonderful home away from home.

Fabiola’s place should get 11 stars out of 10. It’s comfortable, quiet and everything is top quality. We did a ton of walking all along the bay and even all the way to the ocean. It was just perfect.
