Your exclusive getaway with 360-degree views of Säntis/Lake Constance and yet so close to attractions such as St.Gallen/Appenzell. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

The house is located at about 1000 m above sea level and is very quiet. You have a wonderful view of the Sihlsee. The nearby forest offers a lot to discover. The nearby Hochybrig ski and hiking area can be reached in about 12 minutes by car. Other places to visit are described at the property. The pilgrimage of Einsiedeln with its world-famous monastery is close by. Note: The Airbnb service fee of around 16.5% is now included in the price.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Lovely pavilion with a double bed (box spring bed) and a bathroom. To heat the cottage, fire up the heating fireplace, cosy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, a mass camp is also available in the barn, e.g. for families. There is a kitchen available, about 20m from the cottage. On request, we will provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13.00 per person, which must be paid in advance as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.

Our 0041 schöne79 accommodation, Unit 544, is located on a larger, older farm property. The property is somewhat secluded and surrounded by meadows, offering views of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area, you can enjoy the peace and quiet. However, there are also an incredible number of sights and activities in the area. We are happy to help you find something suitable. The studio is wheelchair accessible and has no steps.
