Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Das self-service Frühstück ist einfach (Kaffee, Tee, Saft, Toast, Käse, Joghurt, Cerealien, etc.). Es kann im unbeheizten Vorraum zubereitet und im Zimmer eingenommen werden. Parkplätze sind vorhanden, die Busstation ist 1 Km entfernt.

We rent a very nice, newly furnished and cozy 30 m² apartment with separate bedroom. In the open living room with kitchen and dining area, there is a large sofa bed. The apartment has a separate apartment entrance and is on the first floor (no steps). The free parking is right next to the apartment. The apartment is located in the middle of the village and is easy to find. Just three minutes to the bus stop, 40 minutes to Zurich. We, the host family, live on the upper floor.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Charming pavilion with double bed (sofa bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, fire up the heating fireplace, cosy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, a mass camp is also available in the barn, e.g. for families. There is a kitchen available, about 20m from the cottage. On request, we will provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13.00 per person, which must be paid in advance as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.

Our beautiful accommodation is combined with an older farm, which is rather secluded and surrounded by meadows with a view of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area, you can enjoy the peace and quiet. However, there are also an incredible number of sights and activities in the area. We are happy to help you find something suitable. The studio is wheelchair accessible and has no steps.
