Holiday rentals with a kayak in Erie Canal

Our family was there for a baseball tournament. The home is 15 minutes away, easy to get to. Grocery stores, restaurants, ice cream (recommend Jerry’s on the way to Cooperstown) and tackle and bait store are all close by. The rooms are very comfortable, I worked from the loft on top floor, the kitchen well equipped and the lake right outside. The kids had the opportunity to kayak and paddle board and to fish from the dock. Rodney was very responsive and super helpful to ensure we were comfortable and answered questions quickly. The view on the lake is fantastic and peaceful.

I have stayed at the lakehouse for many years now and have always had a great experience. Amy keeps the house up well and every year there is an upgrade/renovation to look forward to. This year we enjoyed using the pedal boat, basketball hoop, dart games, and the many games for our toddler. The yard is perfect for our husky. We also enjoyed the local activities, including Green Lake State Park. The house is also clean and well kept, and Amy communicates well for any issues that may come up. We look forward to visiting again next year!

The cottage was exactly as pictured—comfortable and cozy. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. It was the perfect setting for the HWS commencement weekend! 💜🧡

Beautiful little cottage and setting on the water!! Kayaks and hot tub were nice extras. To the left you can kayak forever, it’s so peaceful! We’ve never seen so many swans, it was like a movie. Even a deer came to visit us one morning while having coffee on the porch! We had a great stay !

michael and his team were great this weekend! i rented this place for my best friends bach and they could not have all been more helpful!! whether it was suggestions of places to eat, things to do, best bars around there, whatever it was, michael has the answer and was so helpful. very accommodating and super helpful with the planning process and made my life a lot easier as the planner of the event! i definitely recommend his air bnb and would love to come back! thank you again for everything michael!!

We had a blast here. It was super cute and had a cool vibe. It was unseasonably cold so we didn’t get to check out the kayaks but the fire pit was a huge hit with our family and the fireplace inside was so awesome since it was so cold. The hosts were extremely flexible and I love that we can bring our pups next time we visit. Thank you for a safe and cozy place to stay while we put on a wedding.

5 stars! Very family friendly, super quiet. Our 5 year old enjoyed the video games. Everything was squeaky clean and updated. Beautiful views, and we caught a fish off the dock! Great stay. 👍

"Our stay at Alec's place was great! Very spacious, right on Lake Keuka, close to wineries, breweries and distilleries. Alec was very communicative when we had a power outage due to a bad storm, and kept us updated on when it was going to be back on. He was very supportive in answering all of our general questions as well. Highly recommend staying here and would stay here again"

We had a great stay! The place was peaceful, secluded, and very private - just what we were looking for. We especially loved spending time on the dock and relaxing in the chairs by the marsh. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway.

Not only was the AirBnB incredibly clean and such a beautiful stay, but also hosted by the best of the best! Robin and Dustyn were attentive and kind as soon as we booked. They checked in on us during the stay and made sure everything ran smoothly. The property itself was beautiful- the home was cozy and the views were so peaceful. We actually ended up making friends with the neighbors in the area and buying farm fresh eggs down the road. The AirBnB stay could not have been a better experience. we had a great vacation - my husband and 2 kids. we enjoyed the space and had everything we needed. we enjoyed being able to walk down to the lake. we sat on the deck, played games at the kitchen eat in counter. watched TV and relaxed/slept on extremely comfortable beds. it was a very quiet location even surrounded by other houses. it was close by to many of our trip highlights including the sandy bottom park, Naples pizza, red cat winery, lynnie lous ice cream and the Corning museum. would recommend this place to future families looking for a place to stay.

Excellent stay! Really nice having water access and a yard for our dog to run around in! Place was well kept and the paddle boards and grill were in great shape.

This lovely cabin was just perfect in every way! The house itself was very private, nicely furnished and was stocked with everything you need and more to enjoy every part of the property. We enjoyed the three season porch and the interior fireplace the most where we lounged for hours in between walking to and from Sacandaga Lake to the property's dedicated access area. Though it rained all weekend, we could not have found a more quiet, serene and peaceful place to spend a long holiday weekend. We look forward to returning sometime soon!

It was just the perfect weekend getaway at the perfect cabin. Everything from the peaceful surroundings, the view, the inside of the cabin, the glamping bedroom was exactly, if not better than pictured on the listing. It truly exceeded our expectations. Second stay at this place. Engaged to my wife while staying here 4 years ago and this time we brought our 1 1/2 yr old son and sister in law. Very peaceful! The village of lake George is close enough to go to and from as often as you want effortlessly but far enough to enjoy peace. The firework shows with the echo through the mountains and across the lake are visible and audibly stunning! Ania provides everything you need for that rustic cabin experience and immediate response with any other questions. My sister in law fell in love with the location. I taught her how to fish and within 5 minutes she caught her first fish, 2 lb large mouth bass, right off the dock at the lake Ania provides. Ania provides a binder with all the local to dos anyone not familiar with the area could want but I’ll be honest, my favorite part was having nothing to do and enjoying the tranquility with my family.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Spruce Lake Cabin. The lake was extremely peaceful and, despite the rainy weekend, was still very enjoyable on the deck. I only wish I had more time to enjoy the kayak! Jacqui was extremely friendly and communicative from the beginning. I’m hoping to plan another stay!

Check in was easy and Sarah provided excellent directions to find the house. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the fire pit, the kitchen was well appointed and the surrounding area was quiet. Even though it was hot out, the house is in a woodsy setting and stayed cool. The AC in both the upstairs and downstairs worked really well. I would stay here again, it was so relaxing.

What a fantastic place, we made some really fun memories with our young family here and would love to come back and make more. The space was clean and highly useable, has a fantastic fire pit overlooking the water, a dock at the cabin and a beach right next door. Wish we had stayed longer so we could have done more exploring all the amenities, but it was a very restful weekend and we cannot wait to return to this magical camp you have created!!
