Cottage holiday rentals in Erie Canal

This was our third time staying with Sondra. Very cozy, has everything you need for a little getaway. Love the hot tub, and the sound of the creek is just so peaceful. Thanks again for another memorable trip.

We really enjoyed our time at the Peppermint Cottage. It was freezing cold and snowy when we got there and it made us feel instantly warm and cosy when we walked in and a fire was already going in that beautiful fireplace! It was a quiet and peaceful location, and we enjoyed a quiet nights rest. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time at Amanda’s place. We just needed a quick get away to relax and it was perfect! The place is in a great location very quiet, beautiful trails to walk on plenty of restaurants to order from and lots of other things to do very close by and the place was immaculate. It had everything we needed and more. Amanda was a great host and responded immediately to any questions and it was also perfect for our dog who loved the fenced in backyard and really enjoyed the walks on the trails. The hot tub and fire pit were a bonus and we spent a lot of time enjoying them. Overall, a great spot to spend time and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants to get away be comfortable and enjoy all that Saratoga has to offer. An amazing little cottage with a great view of the lake. This house is perfect for a couples weekend getaway. The fireplace is a rustic little touch that warms the living room and gives a cozy atmosphere.

Really cool spot, enjoyed the walk to the lake and the hot tub. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again

My family and I had the absolute most wonderful weekend here!! Victoria was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We ice fished and cooked on the grill and relaxed in the hot tub. ❤️ it was absolutely wonderful!

What a fantastic place! Perfect for our family! Franks had alll the amenities we needed at the right price! Lakefront, plenty of space, boats to play in, and a hot tub with a great view!!!!!

We had a great weekend. The house was perfect size and allowed us to bring our dog. The hot tub was an extra bonus! Close by a nice pier to walk on. Had everything we needed in the home.

Couldn’t recommend Green Haven anymore. Barbara and Gregory were fantastic hosts, were extremely hands on and accommodating to make it a perfect stay for my family and dog. Everything in the listing is described perfectly and the property and cabins are super clean. Location is fantastic as well, just a very short drive into Lake George village.

We absolutely loved staying at the cozy cottage! The view is outstanding the best view in the area! It is so close to great wineries and about 20ish minutes from Watkins glen!

Our stay in Lodi was amazing. Beautiful view of the lake while watching tv, cooking or just playing a game. Very Peaceful. Easy to walk our dog. Love how the bedrooms are on each side of the house as well as bathrooms as to not disturb one another... beautiful.. many wineries and breweries for tastings, & most are Dog friendly too! So easy to sit back and relax! My daughter & boyfriend loved hiking and also did some golf! This was a Beautiful getaway and the host was so great and attentive. So clean and so comfy.

We really enjoyed our stay & so did our pups! Great location. So much to do & some gorgeous hikes nearby. Jennifer was a great host! We will definitely be back

Absolutely amazing stay! We loved the house and it would be great to return. We decided to visit Niagara falls in the winter, it was our first time in the area. I wasn't expecting much of our stay, but it turned out to be a beautiful romantic weekend. The house is right by the lake and has a gorgeous view. You can tell that it was build to be actually used by the hosts and not just a rental property, it is very well-made, cosy, with a lot of nice details and a fully equipped kitchen. We had an great time having breakfast and looking at the lake Ontario. 100% would recommend to stay there!

First time staying near Lake Ontario. The home was adorably cute/cozy! Even saw some deer in the neighborhood. Will definitely stay here again and definitely recommend!

This cabin is the perfect place to switch off from the world and relax. The lake is beautiful. The cabin is clean and well equipped. James and Renee are lovely people whose main aim is for people to enjoy the experience of staying at their properties. Jamie brought us fish from the river and kitted us out with bikes to save us hiring some. A lovely stay.

The house was perfect! Seems to be an all season location. Fantastic access to Hamilton and Colgate. Also great location for discovering restaurants and activities beyond Hamilton. Can’t wait to visit again!

My husband and I spent Labor Day weekend here and it was so beautiful and relaxing! The primary bedroom was even bigger than expected and the downstairs was also a great size! Beautiful views of the lake, we spent an entire day on the dock. Also very private, loved getting away for the weekend to recharge before the school year begins! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

No frills, but exactly what you need for a relaxing stay on the lake in FLX. Cabin is well equipped for whatever weather you encounter- plenty of fans, heaters, blankets, and windows. There are many lighting options, portable lamps, and tons of outlets. There are 2 wineries walking distance from the property, and dozens of wineries, breweries, cideries, restaurants, stores and more within a 20 minute drive. Just a little further gets you to Geneva, Ithaca, Watkins Glen and more- the scenery can't be beat. It is incredibly dark and quiet around the property, so rain, wind, falling branches, etc. can seem a bit alarming, but just know that going in and don't let it deter you! Bruce was available for check-in and checked-in to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely return!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Beautiful setting in the trees near Irondequiot bay. Quiet/peaceful location. Would recommend to others.
