The Stöckelkeller is the former inn in the village of Unternschreez near Bayreuth. By car, the university is 10 minutes away, the city center is 15 minutes away and the Festspielhaus is 20 minutes away. You will stay on 29 square meters (13 square meters of living & cooking; 11 square meters of sleeping; 5 square meters of bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment the way we like it when we travel. The house is right next to the small Margrave's Palace Schreez.

Small, open-plan apartment/granny flat on the ground floor with fitted kitchen (coffee machine, toaster, kettle, fridge with freezer), bathroom (shampoo, shower gel, etc.) with shower and toilet, towels, bed linen, hairdryer. Bedroom with wardrobe, living room with sofa bed, dining table, TV. Please let us know if you want us to make the sofa bed. Families with children are very welcome, there is a high chair available as well as various toys.

The apartment is located in a former Franconian farmhouse, on the edge of the forest in the most beautiful part of Franconian Switzerland. There are 2 separate apartments in the Engelschanze, but they can also be booked as a single unit for 8–10 people. All guests can use the large garden. It extends into the adjacent forest, where there is also a hammock for general use. Each apartment has its own separate terrace with a view.

Our place is absolutely quiet. In just a few steps you are in nature. It is ideal for 2 adults and 2-3 children. The large garden with a stream is ideal for children. In the immediate vicinity are cross-country trails and the biathlon stadium with ski roller train and ski lift, sledding slope, MTB trails and hiking trails. Fichtelsee is a 20-minute walk away. A house with history - built in 1860 as a royal forestry building Mähring, it was sensitively restored in several thousand hours of work. Enjoy the wonderfully idyllic area as a base for trips to Neualbenreuth, Pilsen, Marienbad, Karlovy Vary, Eger, Waldsassen and many more attractive destinations in the area.
