The entire ground floor of this ark on the Rhine belongs to your domain: a cozy kitchen connected by a hall with the living room. Both the living room and the kitchen have a wood-burning stove, in addition to floor and wall heating. The kitchen has a 6-burner gas stove, a large oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher and various appliances. The designer bed is in the living room. On your private terrace is the outdoor shower. In the garden overlooking the Rhine, there are various seating and BBQ areas.

The house is located in the most beautiful spot in the Netherlands, in the middle of the beautiful nature reserve De Weerribben. Located directly on the water, there is every opportunity to rent boats, canoes, bicycles or a sup. The farm is located on the Zuiderzeepad and many bicycle junctions. The spacious apartment has 2 separate bedrooms for a total of 4 people. Optionally, a third bedroom/studio can be booked separately, only in combination with the apartment. Bovenop het veluwe massief ligt het kleine dorpje Radio Kootwijk. Dit dorpje is rond 1920 ontstaan rondom "gebouw A" waarin destijds de lange golf zender stond voor de radio-telefoon verbinding met het toenmalige Nederlands Indië. En. later voor alle intercontinentale telefoon verbindingen TOR (telefoon over radio). Later verbindingen met schepen. Na sateliet overbodig geworden. Er wonen ongeveer 100 mensen en er is geen winkel te vinden. Kortom een plek voor wandelaars, fietsers en rustzoekers.

Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.
