Amazing converted church -Dorset’s Jurassic Coast
This dog friendly converted church is is typically available April to October each year. It is set in its own grounds (Yes that includes a graveyard and bell tower!) and consists of 2 large reception areas, 3 large double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. ( one of which is en suite to the master bedroom. Surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside the property is on the banks of River Frome and close to the Jurassic coast. Most of Dorset's main attractions are within 5 miles and all 30 mins by car.

The Old Chapel is tucked away in the small Dales village of Buckden for an incredibly peaceful holiday in a converted Wesleyan Chapel. It is ideally placed for exploring the local area on foot or bike. There are 4 pubs that serve food within a 2 mile radius with one a 2 minute walk away. Upper Wharfedale can be explored from the doorstep with easy riverside walks or more strenuous hikes up into the mountains. A short drive away are the villages of Kettlewell, Grassington, Skipton, Hawes & Settle

Surrounded by beautiful countryside it provides a great base for walking and exploring the stunning scenery. Nearby is the famous Carreg Cennen Castle and the historic towns of Llandeilo and Llandovery. The Milky Way is seen crossing the skies on moonless nights. There is a beginners telescope available for the use of our guests.

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. Sleeping eight people comfortably. Three of the bedrooms have double beds. The master suite has a super king bed. All bedrooms have their own en-suites with full baths. The Old Methodist Church is located right on the Broadway and central to everything. A simple stroll to the Golf Club. Enjoy the local flavours of the local restaurants within walking distance. Staying at the Old Methodist Church is unique experience!

The North Transept
The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.
