The forest house has a beautiful sauna and a big (wild) garden of more than 1000 m2 where you can rest and enjoy all the flora and fauna. From the cottage you can walk, cycle and swim for hours. There are beautiful routes and you can easily jump in a canoe or enjoy a terrace in the lively Hanseatic town of Ommen. There is a coal barbecue. The use of your own cooking appliances is not allowed.

The village-famous “Villa Kunterbunt,” from 1911, once housed the Hörste post office. At that time, the apartment served as a stable for the stagecoach.

A sauna is available to unwind after a hike, an exciting excursion or simply at the end of a long day.
