We had a wonderful stay here for our honeymoon. The town of Carmignano is a great place to get away from the bustle of the city. Great spots to eat. The unit itself is one of the most unique places I have ever stayed! If taking the bus, please note that the 210 route does not go direct to Carmignano every time, and you will have to make transfers. Just look up the bus schedules online and they can tell you where to transfer.

It was a great place, I'm glad you stayed at Marco's house:)) We checked in very late at night and this was no problem. The house was very clean and the design of the furniture was beautiful and useful. Waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning made us very happy. A lot of things were offered for breakfast at home and we didn't expect it. When everything was so beautiful, we thought that if the house was available, we could extend our stay for another day, but unfortunately our schedule did not allow it. We have already started to plan to come back here and stay longer:))) I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

We had the BEST experience at this studio! From start to finish, Monica was very attentive and responded quickly to messages (she helped suggest hair salons, restaurants-bars-cafes and best things to see and do in Florence!) Monica was there to greet us on arrival and help show us into the apartment using the safe locks and codes. Monica upon arrival was so very polite and helpful - she gave us a map and circled ALL things helpful for our visit. The accommodation was amazing. Could not have been any closer to the duomo and fantastic places near by. The street was quiet snd there was a supermarket directly across which was very helpful. The room was immaculate, smelled beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay (including an umbrella, coffee and toilet roll) The entry system was very safe and secure and very clean! We have already recommended this place to friends and family and over all very satisfied with the whole experience. Monica is very lovely and made the experience!

I chose Mark’s place because it was right between the two centres that make up the Bagni di Lucca and was certainly better value than staying in town. The location is right by the river, on the upper level of the building, so you can open the windows and enjoy the view. There is a bus stop just 100 metres away that links with the railway with a fairly regular service, or you could continue all the way to Lucca itself. The apartment was very well equipped, which is great if you want to self-cater and there is a Conad Supermarket about a 10 minute walk away, which is well stocked with meat, cheeses, wine, bread, vegetables and necessaries. The town itself is probably about a 20 minute walk away, with various restaurants. A shout out has to go to Mark, who was so helpful when l left a suitcase on the train. He was so understanding and concerned and even checked at Lucca station to see if it had been returned and suggested places to replace lost items. This exceeded my expectations!
